I’m so glad I watched your review about Palatine. You’re the second reviewer to mention that it has a designer vibe. No hate to designer fragrances but I’m not about to drop that much money on something that smells like I could pick it up at Ulta.
Pear, white florals, sweet and violet. That scent profile is all up and down the designer market.
I’m not the biggest fan of PDM but I’ve been rocking with you since the beginning, and that’s not going to change.
Your honesty is so rare in the YT community, and it’s much appreciated.
I feel like such a negative Nelly all 2024 but man these releases have just NOT been up to par!

I am OG Delina girlie when I’m in the mood for a rose scent. I personally love the crispy tartness opening but it’s not everyone’s jam. My personal favorite though of the line is the airiness beauty of Meliora…it’s divine!

It's so hard for me to choose a favorite Delina - they are all masterpieces! The Julianna's dupes of all three are fantastic and, though I love the Delina bottles, I don't feel that I'm missing out on the original juice. AND Julianna's just dropped a Guidance dupe and I'm so hoping it's as great as everything else they do!!!
I am so sad a lot people are not liking Palatine, I was hopeful especially with the bottle being purple. Thank you for your ranking 😊

Ms Sharida you are right, because that Althair is more feminine leaning to me. I love it.
Cassili is my all time fav, then Delina Exclusif, and then Athalia/Safanad.
I have 9 PDM fragrances in my collection. My top 3 are Delina, Althair & Athalia. I also have Vanilla Romance, and while it's a CLOSE replica of Althair, Vanilla Noir (from the B&BW men's collection) is SPOT ON!

Hey, Sharida, I am so happy that I am not the only one dissapointed in Palatine. For me it smelled straight like soap in the opening, and after that like a pear Head&Shoulders shampoo😂❤️
Thanks for the review of Palatine. The bottle is so pretty, I want to love it. But based on your review and others, I’m going to sample it first. I love Vanilla Romance so I’m sure I’m going to love Althair!

PDM is my favorite niche house and I have 8 from the female line and 3 from the men’s line. Althair is up there for me too. Also LOVE Carlisle. Meliora is sooo underrated and one of my most complimented PDM fragrances which is shocking because it’s not my fav but it does get a ton of attention. Delina Exclusif is my #1. Waiting on my Palatine sample although I’m not as excited as I was based on this review.

You're not alone. PDM is the #1 selling "niche" fragrance house on UA-cam. Almost Everyone has at least 3-5 of their fragrances.

I haven’t made to PDM yet! But what it worth… since i started collecting in the fall of 2022, I have 8 Kiilan, 24 Kayali, 8 commodities and a plethora of Middle Eastern fragrances! I recently purchased 4 amouages! This month for my birthday I leaped and bought 540!! I’m giving my dupe away, with the quickness!! I also bought Creed Aventus for Her! I’m giving that dupe away as well!! So…. Eventually, I will work my way to the Delinas and Vilaya!😅 Also, your makeup is stunning!!❤❤

Safanad I adore. The ylang ylang pulls more on me than anything. Like that sunscreen vibe that I don’t care for too much, but I do enjoy Safanad and wear her often. Le rosee actually lasts on me, and it’s the only real aquatic fragrance I own and love lol

Hey Sharida, Thank you for the video on PDM. The only ones I've liked from PDM was Oriana and Delinah. These days I've found myself looking to Montale, Nishane, and Brown Sugar Babe fragances for the upcoming fall and winter. Do you have any recommendations? BTW, Mahni Cassonade is a beautiful sent! I got the Dua version of Celeste, Galaxy Ethereal and love it! It’s reminds me of Jany but smoother to me. I’m guessing that’s what the Julianna’s was looking to replicate with Ethereal Bloom.

Hey Sharida. It seems the new PDM is not getting great reviews by anyone. I brought the Vanilla Romance Candle room spray after hearing you talk about it the first time. I’m waiting on a good discount for Althair. Delina Exclusif is beautiful and beyond long lasting. I only have four fragrances from PDM. #1 Valaya #2 Delina Exclusif #3 La Rose 4 the OG Delina. Great video 💜

Now how did I know that you are not going to be a fan of Palatine😂😂. I have tried Palatine and I like it because it’s a simple violet fragrance that I have been looking for plus it’s different enough from others that I currently own😍😍. However I agree with you, I would not pay full price for it and I didn’t🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I will be rocking mine a whole lot this spring and summer💜💜My favourite PDM would be Delina Exclusif, Valaya and La Rosee which I’m planning to purchase😍😍. I don’t care for Delina, I only have a travel spray and it won’t be upgraded to a full bottle😏😏. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰

Delina was also my first niche fragrance buy, and everything went downhill after that, including the bank account. 😅 I would rank Delina esclusif, Delina, Valaya and Delina la Rosèe. This is why I trust your nose. ❤

Oriana. Valaya. Safanad. La rosee. Those are my faves. Oriana is perfect. Princessy and sweet. Valaya is bold but clean. La Rosee is pretty. Safanad is soapy for me. I have neroli blanc intense on your recommendation and I agree. So good.

Ok I’m a PDM FAN AND A HUGE VIOLET FAN. I had to take a break from the fragrance world for a while after realizing how much $$$$ I had spent but I may have to go to Sak’s to check Palatine out. Violets are super tricky and they’re either earthy or they’re masked. Or with mimosas which I get for the sweetness but am not a fan of. I still think Insolence is my favorite violets perfume then The Virgin Violet by Gucci with Florale Violet by Gucci.

Safanad, Althair and Oriana are my faves but sadly I wouldn’t repurchase any of them. The market is saturated with great dupes and smell-alikes to a point where investing in (some) niche can’t be justified anymore. I’m just gonna save a few drops to justify keeping the cute bottles 😅

Omg 👀 not Palatine at the bottom lol. The notes were simple, I knew I was going to get it for the bottle. Let me just wait on the new Kilian or just get my fall wishlist items. Let me save my coins that I don’t have 😂😂. I might need a sample just to try out.
I had the opposite experience with Greenwich Village. On me the sugary praline dominated the shit out of everything else but that happens a lot with me which is why I have to avoid vanillas and gourmands. They get syrupy sweet and cloying. I wish I got more citrusy Ambroxan!
And I was sooo excited about the praline part. When I got it I was like Wth is this lol. Did they forget the praline in my batch 😂?! So crazy how skin pulls different notes.
Parfums de Marly imo launched Palatine in the wrong season. The weather is transitioning and here in NYC its starting to get cooler. I smelled it and was underwhelmed as well but i do think it will do better in the hot weather. So im saving this purchase for next spring/summer. I know some people say to wear what you want no matter the season but most fragrances performance depend on temperature and skin chemistry.
That is what I thought too! For sure a spring summer scent. We are starting to cool down a bit as well.
In order for me to buy another PDM it needs to TOP Delina...
I don’t own any PDM but I made the mistake of trying La Rose on my skin last week, and it’s downhill from here 😂. I WANT this so badly. I’m a rose girl so I should have known better than to try it when I’m on a no-buy right now. If I find a sale or discount I’m snatching it up and wearing it now, no matter how the weather is looking in NYC.

I own all 3 Delinas, Oriana, Athalia (My Queen) Safanad, & Darcy (Can’t stand Darcy) still tryna sell her lol! Palatine was on my wish list for sure, but man if it smells like lavender AT ALL, you can count me out. Some folks said it kinda smells like YSL Libre? Well I can’t stand YSL Libre, so no mam lol! I adore violet and Iris/Orris though, but man if theirs any lavender in it you can count me out! Good luck tryna sell any of your PDM on Mecari. Everyone wants to pay SO CHEAP for them because of all the FEES mecari piles on top of the purchase! I got Darcy on there for 125 full bottle authentic, and people like it but want to pay 100 for it and I’m like really? A 375$ fragrance you wanna pay 100$ for it? Do I blame them for all the extra fees? No, but even trying to get HALF of retail on Mercari it’s hard to get, cause nobody wants to even pay half price for them because of the 50$ in fees mecari charges!
I agree with you on the PDM woman’s line, the men’s line is killing it, Haltane is so good, I have Layton and I love it, but the women’s line is just nice. Althair was so weird on my skin, I love the smell but on me, lord it was a mess 😭. I might try the bath and bodywork version.

We are at $375 for 75ml and the men's line $265 for $75ml. Thats just not justifiable no matter how you slice it.
Valaya not being number 1 on your list is sinful. 😩😂 j/k. I love Valaya, so that would be number 1 for me. I really need to smell Althair cuz I have a dupe and it’s so good, so I know the original has to be amazing. Delina will always be that gworl.

Your honesty is to be commended. To be honest , I don’t find anything outside the two original Delinas in the women’s line to be worth the asking price, not even Valaya and really like Valaya but at the end of the day she’s just a dressed up musk and it should be criminal to charge that much for it.,
