That last descent really is superb - had one of my most memorable rides up there years ago on the day of a Royal Wedding - roads were deserted all the way up, then literally had the place to myself. Whooping and screaming all the way down. Theres a dead obvious fire-road climb to just do loops of the good descent too. Brilliant, one of the best UK trail centre descents in terms of pure fun.
Greay video, I love the sense of enjoyment in your commentary. Do you know about the viewpoint the top of North loop? You can find it on map. Just a very short push up a marrow footpath (being considerate of walkers) that deviates from trail. Stunning views.
Ebikes are ace for the trail climbs, it's great to hit the trail centres as well as heading out into the back of beyond, I always need to session places I've never been and my ebike is the perfect way to do this. Whinlatter would be up there with my first choices riding trails south of the border, looked great thanks for sharing! 😁🤙
The Eeb makes a lot of these ‘old school’ trail centres a *lot* more fun. Cwmcarn, Coed Y Brenin, Glenlivet, Dalby, Mabie, Ae, all much more fun with some power.
It would be great to see you ride Kirroughtree again on your E-bike. I know you didn't enjoy it last time . I haven't ridden a better 20 mile loop on mine. It's an awesome loop.
Whinlatter is a seriously underrated trail centre imo. The south loop is great fun and the north loop has some really great sections (including the ability to session the last descent). One of the few places I feel like the car park cost is definitely worth it. It’s also a great stop off point on the way to Scotland 😂
There so much potential at Whinlatter it should be England's Glentress but I suppose forestry don't see the need to invest if there car parks are full.
Great watch Jamie 👌 that cameras looking awesome in the low light. I thought about waiting to see what the 5's all about but that takes some beating. 👌

It really is an awesome descent. Love it every time I ride it!
Great trail centre! I sometimes link up grizedale pike on the south loop, a little hike up but the decent is good back to the trail centre 👍
Yeah, that's on my list!
hah you walked past my car :) Whinlatter is my local riding place
Ah nice!
Loved the drone shots! Not seen many Tubers use it like that. 🤘
Ah, cheers Mike. Appreciate that. It's the first time I've really done that with it. Glad it worked!
It’s a good place, I was there Friday same day as you. Still some slippy rocks and routes . Weather was kind as well.
Nice. Cheers for the comment 👍
Sweet rail on the high berm sir, awesome! Love the 3rd person shots at the end, they look ace! 👍
Thank you sir. Nearly binned it for sure 😆

Cheers mate. I didn't know about that at all! Cheers for the info 😁

My pleasure buddy 👍
Looked cool I’ll have to take my bike next time I’m working up there
Absolutely 💯

Totally agree 👌👍

Cheers man. Yup, I bonked hard last time!

For sure. Yeah, that final North Loop descent is loads of fun!
Cathkin Braes is another great stop off if you’re heading northbound.
@chimps4gimps cheers man. Still never been there.
been up to the south loop its great, your camera is placed like perfectly, not to close not to zoomed out if you know what i mean
Cheers buddy. Spent a lot of time trying to get the POV right. Appreciate the feedback 🙏
Great video! Quick question... How many times a week do you get to ride?
Twice buddy. Once on the normal bike, once on the eeb. Do a couple gym sessions as well 👍
@@streetpigeonmtbAwesome
Nice! How long did I take you to get there from yours?
I think it's about 2 hours exactly matey 👍
Enjoyed the vid, how many e bikes did you test before settling on the tazer ?
Not many TBF. Rode a Forrestal, and a Specialized. Also rode the Tazer and decided that offered the best bang for buck 👌

It must be a Forestry thing. Some of the new trails Glentress are wrecked already and as far as I can see there is no maintenance plan whatsoever 🙈
@@streetpigeonmtbI was very disappointed with the new trails at glentress. Not just because they wear worn already, they’re just nothing special
@timmayers4965 ah, fair play. I really liked them.
Good donate.

Still better on a hardtail !
I'm sure it's fun on most bikes. Eeb just gets the climbs out the way 😁
Hardtail? 😆 Are they still a thing? 😉
@SplendidProgress careful! 😆

@rpirie101 cheers man. Yeah, will be interesting to see if they can top it. I think they'd need to go for an even bigger sensor 🤷♂️
Aren't E bikes just for old unfit blokes?🤔
I'm in my 40s... Does that count?
@streetpigeonmtb 40s is still young. As long as I get an e bike to ride as well, all will be good.
@bestdayevermtb2 😁😁😁
@@streetpigeonmtblife begins at 40 especially when you have an e bike lol.
@robertwalker841 😆👌😁
