@@TheGudanie I don't want to promote myself but I made some exhaust clips from mine if you want to hear it properly. And yes, the exhaust does poppidy pop like the MINI JCW :-). ua-cam.com/video/KwQHRjGJM2w/v-deo.html
This is an underrated car, at 1435kg curb weight. Tuned is 300hp with stock internal, easy between 30-40mpg, and under 6s 0-60mph. The 3 door is a compact Shooting Brake, 5 seats, and cargo space for bikes and sport stuff. There is no other car like this but the 130i, was 6L and better sound but way less power and efficency.
@0:45 the new BMW 1 series model is front wheel drive, it goes on sale here in Norway at the end of this year I think... would think the rwd cars (especially M sport verions)gonna hold their value really well...
Roush 25 Hi, Everyone seems to think that. The 125i and the 135i both have 3-Litre engines with inline six cylinders. The very powerful 135i has double turbo's which give it a blistering 335 Bhp. The 125i M Sport coupe is compact and perfectly balanced and so much fun to drive. I have owned the Audi equivalent and it was great but not fun (personally) It does 6.8 seconds to 60 so is very responsive...especially mid range.
Sorry, my apologies I mistook the 125i for the 120i. I am also a very large petrolhead. As a matter of fact im looking forward to owning my first car very soon. I would love a 114i rwd 1.6 inline 4. Although the ones i can afford are 100k miles. I dont know weather at 100k miles the 114i will start showing deffiencies?
Roush 25 Hi, It's not always about the mileage. Look for one which has been excellently maintained (really good service record) My first BMW (1.6) had 120,00 miles but had been very well looked after with oil changes every 7,000 miles etc. It carried on for another 111,000 miles before expensive repairs (body) made it no longer viable to keep. Don't be seduced by SHINEY paintwork...hold out for a little well maintained gem...they are out there! I highly recommend BMW DOCTOR on UA-cam. www.BMWDOCTOR.com
Fun and exciting car being reviewed by an old and tired guy, come on rpmtv, you guys honestly couldn't find someone else with the personality to match the car....really!?
Oh no! they put 2 more sealed tail lights on the boot/tailgate like the Mercs E-Class ect,2 more £200-£300 lights that will fail in the cars life time, how to make more money from very expensive car parts well done BMW you are thinking of your customers here just like Mercedes. So forget those £2 a go little light bulbs we used to be able to buy and fit ourselves, are LED lights not already too bright on today's cars that we now need 4 on the rear?
Great review, I drive a 2017 125i myself and I can say this is a very underrated car. It performs above it's class.
am considering getting one, does the exhaust pops?

Bring back RPM TV and RIP Deon
I prefer the 125i M Sport E82. Fab 3L straight six cylinder.
