Usually Mogwai uploads come in the evening, and I save up his videos while I savor my dinner.
Yesterday I saw he didn't upload, and my line of thought was "Oh! He's having some Shermie time, alright good for him"
I really don't mind if there isn't daily upload, Mogwai brings quality content to the table and I'm more than willing to wait for it so long it's up to the "Mogwai standard"
i personally do 3 xerarth and 1 zil, 1 zig, 1 taliya. all of the latter 3's champ spells suck, even though each of them have a great effect. and they provide so much variety in the gameplay.
Time bomb helps a xerath a lot tho, so keeping zil at 3 was the best, especially if you have a lot of time bomb in deck, you potentially could pew pew your enemy to oblivion
Also this deck finisher should be our lovely big boy, so having a low countdown landmark help

Xerath zil is my favourite archetype! I absolutely love the arsenal as a win con. In a way, its a more fun leesin deck tbh.

Our last match was insane! Thanks for that funny match up...I decided from the very first moment to put as much pressure as I could. And I did not draw the rally. When we made it to the turn number 7 I had two Rangers Resolve in hand, and I played one just in case your 8 drop - I knew it was coming - got Overwhelm...just to minimize the possible damage twice.
By the way...take the breaks you need. We need you healthy so you can keep doing your thing and providing us good stuff!

That last game was pretty intense!
I play a very similar deck to this and I love it, the biggest difference is the champions as I use Taliyah and Ziggs instead of Xerath and Zilean
I also use the 5 mana 4/4 that buffs champions +2/+2 and gives them overwhelm to help win with Taliyah and Ziggs dealing a lot of damage
That deck after the hour glass buff is pretty good

I am really happy to hear that I will watch some Quiin)) But I think that she needs some rework. For 5 mana card, she`s doing pretty low impact for the game. Hard to level up and usually have multiple cards, which stop from multiple attacks

Critical comment here, on the nocturne's match playing mine field into preserverium had higher chances to win, but overall well played sir, specially against tristana
Would love to see decks based on champions that rarely get to be stars of the show. Vi, Trundle, Quinn. champions that might make it into decks but only as a support units. I would love to see decks that really focus on them and leveling them up or playing their package (eg not just Lissandra thrawls but actual trolls!)

Usually, hourglass on arsenal will give every keyword he didn't already had. No lifeseal? Hourglass this turn, then strike next turn.
That game 1 board wipe was so satisfying.

I'm surprised mogwai hasn't tried xerath + renekton mono shurima yet. Have a lot of really good combinations. Especially with renektons buff. Vulernable + the 3 mana give 4/2 makes renekton level in 1 attack

Hey Mog! In my opinion you shouldn't have to stress yourself with daily uploads so much. Just upload whenever you wanna showcase a deck. So you don't have the feeling that you are "failing" your concept :))

I love this deck. Ancient hourglass lets you do some wacky things like double leveled champions and x6 impact Arsenals XD
Just gonna leave this here because don’t know where else to leave it. Next expansion comes out in December and it’s called magical misadventures. (This is in the roadmap) my guess is that vex will be a champion card from the name alone along with some other bandle city cards. Vex might be a veigo or darkness support if not having her own unique method of winning. I’m also guessing Gwen will join her in the misadventure.

Landmark decks is my favorite this patch. Other decks seems boring to me.
I'd love to see a deck that really tries to win with Zilean's lvl up form. Like one of Mogwai's original decks of him with Swain. I just find it kinda sad how he's supposed to be this awesome time mage, but in-game he's more of just a bomb/landmark creator (most of the time you even want to just kill him off so you can play him again and shuffle more bombs into your deck).
EDIT: Also I think his design from a gameplay perspective contributes to why he's played the way he is now. It feels like he's just doing too many things at once and nothing exceptionally well. He synergizes with landmarks but only with his initial play, his lore makes him seem like he'd be a predict champ but he doesn't lvl up with predicts (tho predicts do synergize with the time bombs but aren't a necessity per se). His lvl up form incentivizes you to build a deck with a really low curve but generally the only competitive decks that are like that are burn decks, which he doesn't really synergize with. Idk, I could be wrong about all this so anyone feel free to correct me.

Ancient Hourglass on The Arsenal is insanely OP
Saw first game, and I believe that people have worse decision making nowadays cause of the bandle city package being so strong. The triple spell (12:40) he unleashed on Xerath to me shows inexperience. However the part which I hated is that pokey stick still drew him cards after countering the play so seemlessly. A Vile feast for example would've been 100% denied with this play, experienced players would not have gone this reckless, there is limited to zero punishment in Bandle city region cause this complete misplay, wasn't punished enough, he still drew cards so he could 'fix' his mistake in other rounds more easily.
yeah, if a spell cant be cast without a target, i think it should fizzle if it loses its target, which is true for most cards.
imagine if glimpse beyond couldnt be stopped by removal

Arsenal is bugged when it gets into an Ancient Hourglass. It’s keywords get doubled when it gets re-summoned, making it an absolute destroyer on round 9.
