i feel like there are certain scenes where glee is really good and breaks a lot of stereotypes, but then there are other instances where they play into so many stereotypes.
I think it was a bit of a yawn.. what made it good in my eyes and he was the the jock was the villain and he was not serotyply gay, but they changed it :-/

I think she had a soft spot for Jane and Kitty but she didn’t make her favorites obvious and she gave solos to several people instead of just one. I know it was because she wasn’t part of the club and begging for the solos but she is actually a better teacher for not playing favorites. Especially with these new kids. There was no new Rachel because there didn’t need to be because they were ALL incredibly talented like the original glee club
I do not know why they spent 1.5 seasons on year four cast. Year six cast deserved a full year. Glee made the mistake of centering on Rachael and the others in New York a bit too much. When they became the glee coaches, it worked better.
I liked how in this iteration of the glee club there wasn't one star or "a rachel." They all go to sing which is why even though they were only in it for a season they had more solos than some of the originals.
Supportive kitty is the best, and honestly Jane should’ve been a front woman for this group of kids. This season was a little too much of everyone passing around solos during a song when it would’ve been better for one or two people to lead it. But this one of the best performances for season six.

With this group they really could’ve spread the solos around with each Individual song instead of chopping them up in multiple sections of every song

Also it would have made more sense to introduce new characters if it had continued on for more seasons, but it was kind of like 'why would you introduce new characters for a not full season'. I think the covers they did were great and they were wonderful singers. I just wished it wouldn't have been so rushed and been timed better.

Reason three, they introduced new characters too much. They introduced Jane and Roddrick at first and then introduced Madison and mason and then they introduced 8 more of the warblers(too many people just for 10 more episodes.) (Edit: They didn’t jump from sectionals to regionals all in the last episode but they didn’t even show the nationals performance.)
This was such a good season, new good characters, originals, i wish we could have seen more of this new group with Kitty, she as the leader was amazing and supportive, the new characters were fresh and interesting, while having the originals on the storyline, but they would have been an amazing new generation for more seasons

So sad that were so scared to create new characters like these for seasons 4-5 and they lost the magic, sure they got brave at the end and created/found these awesome characters. (the sad part is that they weren't in a lot of episodes)
This show was onto something special with this last group of kids, if the show hadn't insited on not letting go of the old cast it could have been great.
The S6 cast still had that essence of Glee Club. S4 cast were all popular people who'd have a place and some popularity outside of Glee Club. They were carbon copies. But S6 was different. It gave off that nostalgic vibe, yet kept things new. They were unique misfits. Just like Rachel said to Roderick, that was the reason Mr. Schue started Glee Club. So that the misfits could have a place to fit in. I'd rather they'd have either given this plot to the Gen 2 characters or given Gen 3 a spin-off.
Lmao no offense Glee writers for s6... this season kinda sucked. there was no point in introducing all these new characters... if you knew they were going to end it after this. i get some of them couldn't have come back (per say Melissa Benoist cuz she was starting Supergirl) but like... it just wasn't good.

The utter disrespect to literally every single character in this show who isn’t Rachel, Kurt, Blaine and Will is infuriating. We barely get any development for the 2nd and 3rd ND generations and this performances is one of the rare instances their talents are demonstrated and even then we still need to focus on Blaine. With that being said we still don’t even have any development for them the closest thing is just them singing but besides that we need to focus on Rachel and the alumni despite the fact that the show is about a HIGH SCHOOL GLEE CLUB.

The worst part of Season 6 was easily the new cast. The final season should have been focused on the already existing characters, not new ones that no one cares about.
well except that's literally what they did with season 5 part 2 ... they focused on the old characters ... and it was by far the worst season the show ever had and everyone hated it lmao.. besides season 6 didn't focus at all on those new characters it focused on rachel ... the new characters literally had like 2 or 3 episodes max given to them

When you watched it like 3-4 years ago but now you don't remember these guys at all, who are they?! It's such a shame for a tv show when you make people to remember only the first cast (because the characters are shown full enough) and don't let the next one to shine enough to stay in someone's memory. I remember that I liked some of the guys but I didn't get enough time to remember/love them.
I so preferred these new season 6 characters to the ones we got in season 4 and 5 who were either carbon copies of previous characters: Kitty/Quinn and Jake/Puck or were just plain BORING: Ryder and especially Marley Rose. No offensive to Melissa Benoist, it was the writers fault that they made Marley about as interesting as a wet paper towel. Plus they absolutely ruined Tina’s character in season 4 and 5 and made her so unbelievably annoying that I constantly wanted to reach through the screen and slap her, (along with Rachel who actually managed to become even more obnoxious and self-absorbed when she went to New York) 🙄

So sad that were so scared to create new characters like these for seasons 4-5 and they lost the magic, sure they got brave at the end and created/found these awesome characters. (the sad part is that they weren't in a lot of episodes)
This show was onto something special with this last group of kids, if the show hadn't insited on not letting go of the old cast it could have been great.
Love th eorignal cast and season 6 cast, they weren't copies of the original cast like season 4 cast.
The S6 cast still had that essence of Glee Club. S4 cast were all popular people who'd have a place and some popularity outside of Glee Club. They were carbon copies. But S6 was different. It gave off that nostalgic vibe, yet kept things new. They were unique misfits. Just like Rachel said to Roderick, that was the reason Mr. Schue started Glee Club. So that the misfits could have a place to fit in. I'd rather they'd have either given this plot to the Gen 2 characters or given Gen 3 a spin-off.

So Kitty's the only past Glee club member in season 6's Glee club? And what about the other past Glee club members? What are they doing in this season?
The utter disrespect to literally every single character in this show who isn’t Rachel, Kurt, Blaine and Will is infuriating. We barely get any development for the 2nd and 3rd ND generations and this performances is one of the rare instances their talents are demonstrated and even then we still need to focus on Blaine. With that being said we still don’t even have any development for them the closest thing is just them singing but besides that we need to focus on Rachel and the alumni despite the fact that the show is about a HIGH SCHOOL GLEE CLUB.
This season should have gotten more eps so they could focus more on the students like Jane or Kitty since they only had like 1 focus ep

The worst part of Season 6 was easily the new cast. The final season should have been focused on the already existing characters, not new ones that no one cares about.
well except that's literally what they did with season 5 part 2 ... they focused on the old characters ... and it was by far the worst season the show ever had and everyone hated it lmao.. besides season 6 didn't focus at all on those new characters it focused on rachel ... the new characters literally had like 2 or 3 episodes max given to them

Love this performance but not season 6 as a whole. To me, the show should have ended after Cory's tribute. It just went downhill from there.
When you watched it like 3-4 years ago but now you don't remember these guys at all, who are they?! It's such a shame for a tv show when you make people to remember only the first cast (because the characters are shown full enough) and don't let the next one to shine enough to stay in someone's memory. I remember that I liked some of the guys but I didn't get enough time to remember/love them.
Season 4, 5 and kind of 6 were the actual worst glee seasons. they just weren't good

I so preferred these new season 6 characters to the ones we got in season 4 and 5 who were either carbon copies of previous characters: Kitty/Quinn and Jake/Puck or were just plain BORING: Ryder and especially Marley Rose. No offensive to Melissa Benoist, it was the writers fault that they made Marley about as interesting as a wet paper towel.
Plus they absolutely ruined Tina’s character in season 4 and 5 and made her so unbelievably annoying that I constantly wanted to reach through the screen and slap her, (along with Rachel who actually managed to become even more obnoxious and self-absorbed when she went to New York) 🙄
Kitty became the first ever lady leader of New Directions, she's underrated
