if you want hatchback go for exter for 4cyl engine grace but you will feel the same i10 feel. If you want to feel the real suv. go for punch.
Reason for mentioning Punch in the title( not other cars the owner rejected like Swift, Celerio , Fronx etc.,) might be that Exter was lauched as direct competition to Punch only..( both in Micro Suv category). Also Punch sales is more than double..
The title should be why he chose Exter not why he rejected Tata Punch

Cons:
1) Average handling around the corner
2) AC is totally waste during summer
3) Very Soft suspension
4) Not value for money

@@saisiddardha6807 Hi Bro, sorry for the delayed reply. I'm not sure about other Cars under 10 lac, but we spent 11.24 lac for AMT and AC was not even average. In Tata Cars, there is an option called Express Cool, I've received good feedback for that feature.
I rejected Exter to buy Punch. Main reasons being the fake SUV ness, poor design. It's actually a vertically skewed up i10 Nios ( which by itself a good car). Also the ride and handling is poor in high speeds and corners. The refinement in Exter's engine comes at the cost of poor fuel economy. And the ultimate deal breaker was, Hyundai shoving the sunroof upon the customers who don't prefer it but wanting the decently specced SX variant.

Having seen this car, this literally looks like a toy car. On the other hand, you can feel the build quality of Punch if you just have a look at it. Hope Tata launches
a powerful engine with DCT for Punch.

Tata is best in buit quality and safety perfect SUV look and road apperance. Cost wise less than exter. Service is not up to the mark. Little lag in power but perfect suitability for a first buying family car

I driven my 1st car Maruti 800 for 15 years with my 6members and its 2008 model. I sold that car for 1.5 lakhs . Good driving and maintaining the car doesn’t matter what you drive
