So, did national socialist party banned this artistic movies or encourage it?? I saw these type of productions (with Marika Rokk for ex.) up to 1944! Why I never saw this things on the TV?
The Director of this movie was half jewish. He had to flee some years later. But this movie was very popular in Germany in 1933 even the top newspaper of the Nazis recommended it as a good comedy.
Auch Renate Müller hatte es nicht leicht in Nazideutschland. Sie hatte Beziehungen zu einem Mann, der im Ausland lebte und Regimegegner ẁar. Renate Müller traf sich mit ihm heimlich, was ihr von Josef Goebbels übei genommen wurde. Sie erkrankte und verstand früh.
