Happy New Year! I’ve found over the last year that I really appreciate having my Loop ear plugs on my keyring with me at all times. Really helps out when going to see live music or a sporting event on a whim!
Which model do you have? I actually picked up a pair of loop experience ones a few months back in preparation for a concert and was a bit disappointed with the eq changes while using them. Been on the hunt for the ideal pair but haven’t checked out the other loop models
They are the loop experience. I have not tried any other brands or models before. We bought them as an impulse buy after going to a movie theater that was way too loud. They’ve worked out well, but I’d be interested to try something else out if you end up finding a pair you like and feature it in a future review.

My all-time favourite bit of EDC gear is my Victorinox Rambler. It’s small, well built, and very useful. It’s always in my pocket and I love it!

I love my SOG Keytron and have had it for many years. Simple, thin, and an included bottle opener for the rare times I need one. I also love the built-in keyring as it makes it easy to attach to anything!

My favorite piece of EDC is the CRKT Minimalist drop point - black. Dissappears on the belt, super sharp and easy to sharpen, great grip and most importantly - full tang blade. Always with me for years now!
Awesome pick! Never caught on to carrying a fixed blade for my EDC but always have one for camping and bushcraft stuff.

My favorite EDC (aside from the necessary EDC like my glasses) has to be my AirPods (both the OGs and my Pros). I use them literally every day.

Thanks for the video! I would say my all-time favorite and most used piece of EDC gear is the Nite Ize Doohickey. It's such a small thing yet has come in handy more times than I can count. It's incredibly affordable and can be found at almost any hardware store. Mine has been going strong for probably 5 years and should for many years to come. Cheers!

Great video again Josh. I've become a bit of a Bellroy fanboy myself and while I have the Sling Mini, I also have and found that I like the Lite Sling (not the mini size) better for my needs especially when traveling as the larger size (7L vs 4L) gives enough room to comfortably fit my iPad mini in it as well as other travel essentials. That's probably my favorite piece of EDC gear at the moment. Happy New Year!
Totally agree with this! I have the same two as you and definitely go with the lite sling more often for the larger capacity. Been a sucker for the earth tones lately though so my arcade grid colorway isn’t always the best match so I make it work with the smaller capacity.
I can’t leave anywhere without my leatherman free t4! It has all the basics and has been useful everywhere I go. I get complimented all the time for being resourceful in a pinch.

Love the composition of your videos. While I don’t carry a knife or a flashlight, those have always been interesting. My current favorite EDC gear have to be my recently acquired huckberry cruisers. Wore them on vacation and they received a number of compliments! Thanks for the recommendations.

My all-time favorite EDC item is either my 2nd gen AirPods Pro which has come in handy especially traveling or a Zippo lighter that my brother gave me more than 30 years ago for sentimental value
Both great choices! My APP2 have been so great, love a good sentimental pick as well. Used to have a zipper back when I was a smoker but haven’t carried one for a long time

Favorite EDC of late: About a month ago I picked up a new charger from Anker, their GaN Prime 100W 3-port wall charger. I sprung for this one mainly because of its form factor-it’s smaller and shorter than other 100+W multi-port wall chargers Anker has made in the past, which means it works in looser wall outlets that their previous ones would have issues with. I’ve been loving it, and it’s proven to be a real jack of all trades in my tech kit. It’s the perfect compact charger for a work day at the coffee shop, functioning as a laptop charger while also being able to fast-charge my phone if needed. But it’s also a fantastic travel charger, being able to charge things like my laptop, Switch, and/or iPad during the day after a flight, and then simultaneously charging my watch, phone, and AirPods overnight. And the small form factor means it’s even great to shove into a personal item pocket for charging my phone on a plane. As always with Anker, it feels really well made and durable. The only question I’ve had is what I’m going to do with all this extra room in my tech kit where my multiple other chargers used to go.

My favorite piece of EDC is my AirPods. I love music, and having a way to block out noise on the go is a must!

My all time, Every Day Carry item, is hands down my Victorinox Executive Knife with black scales. I have a few other knives in the rotation but keep coming back to the Executive!
Classic choice! My only victorinox is the classic sd, my go to multi tool has been the wave+ for a few years.
My favorite EDC is by far my Victorinox super tinker with the nano clip, pocket clip. I pair it with my bench made bug out, but some days I just take my super tinker alone. It’s so lightweight and has so many different tools. The nano clip helps the knife sit halfway to the bottom of the pocket and make its invisible.

Great video!! I’m relatively new to the EDC scene but I find myself always using my ALPAKA metro sling. It’s not too big but I’m able to carry all of my daily essentials.

My favorite edc are my secrid wallet and a jibbon key organiser. Both are great!

My new EDC fave is the Wuben X3 Owl from Black Friday. Wireless/USB-C charging, rotating head, lcd, red & white light!
Such a fun light! Was able to get my hands on one last year and it’s easily one of the most unique lights I’ve come across. The flip design and the diffuser case are both so clever
That's a cool casio, that I haven't seen before! I would say my favorite is my SOG powerpint. I always carry a multi tool and the small form factor just makes it so much easier to carry in any kind of pants
Haven’t tried that one before but it looks great! I’ve had great luck with my leatherman and haven’t expanded out quite yet, definitely keeping SOG in mind.

One of my all time favorite EDC items is the inCharge X, 6 in 1 charger. If so handy being able to charge any usb-c, micro usb, or lightning bolt comparable device with one cable.
Excellent pick, one of my favorites! I don’t usually have it in my edc but it’s always with me for travel and outdoor adventures. Was a bit hesitant with the hinge build quality initially but it’s held up so well almost 2 years later now
I ride the commuter train into Boston when not traveling for work an hour each way so my AirPods are my favorite edc item and make the trip bearable.

Great pick! One of my most used as well, I love testing new headphones but it’s tough to beat the integration/ecosystem with the AirPods. Sound is better than they get credit for too.

Just got into EDC recently and been watching videos on UA-cam for ideas and yours is one I stumbled across and subscribed to today so new sub here 👋. My current favorite EDC item at the moment is actually the Baton 4 Pro. Love how small but powerful it is and like you said easily to charge it in the case so never really have to worry about it dying on me when I need it or looking for the proprietary charger when the charging case is USB C 👌

I would have to say it’s a toss up between my Jibbon key organizer, which I bought the tan leather one and the patina on it is beautiful. Or my Microblade by WESN which I highly recommend!

A Key Organizer is my EDC upgrade, went with Orbitkey again after I lost my first set, even though I did consider the Jibbon. Speaking of losing keys, got the Chipolo Bluetooth tracker as well.
Orbitkey is still really solid, glad it’s working well for you! I usually keep an AirTag in my sling with my keys inside but a separate bt tracker is great.
My favorite edc is the combination of my sog PowerPint and a bit kit, always have it

My favorite is crkt lck+ it got a reverse tanto style blade and has been great I work at a lumber yard so constantly cutting into units, pallets, bags and prying on thing it’s held up to the beating.

Picking one is so hard, but I'd have to say my favorite EDC gear is my Leatherman Squirt P4. I use the small pliers surprisingly often and it's such a people-friendly multitool. I always have a knife on me as well, but seem to grab the squirt p4 the most when around other people.

The obvious pick for me is the James Brand Elko. Small blade, disappears in your pocket, and the pry bar/ flat head screw driver is so versatile (can use to open bottles too). I know most probably put it on their keychain, but I just toss it in a pocket. Love it so much I lost one and bought another.
The elko is solid! I know the knife snobs don’t seem to like James brand but I’ve been really happy with everything from them

my everytime edc favorite is the Herschel Charlie wallet, i have it in 7-8 different materials and colors and i found it perfect because its very slim and i can store my 2 most used cards on the outside (credit and transport) and other 3-4 less used inside (id, license, medical) + some cash
Such a great wallet! Tested one a while back for a budget edc build and was really impressed, especially for the price.
Definitely a favourite EDC item for me is either wallet or watch. Two things I never leave home without and provide important functions.

My favorite EDC item is my Olight Arkfeld flashlight- the original model with a white light emitter and laser pointer. It fits perfectly in my hand and pocket and is easy to use. Multiple modes give me bright light when I need it, but let me step down to conserve battery when I just need a bit of light. It’s been my daily companion for almost two years.
Such a great light! I have the UV version but really love the polish and form factor, still heavy in the rotation for me

My most used, favorite piece of EDC is my airpods pro. Took forever to bite the bullet, but don't know how I lived without them before. Love the videos, Josh.
Well worth it imo! Especially if you use other apple products the blending is too seamless to pass up. I love testing other headphones and have a nice wired pair for my desk setup but always default pack to my APP2.
Thans for the video Josh. Actually just snagged 2 arcade belts from REI recently since they had the national park editions on sale. Something I recently added to my edc, was a set of usb-c wired IEMs from moondrop. A little hipsterish i know, but mic Quality is best wired. And they make for a great backup if my wireless earbuds die on me.
Glad you caught some of the Natl Parks belts before they were gone! I didn’t realized they were discontinued until a few weeks ago. Totally get the desire for wired IEM’s, my sennheiser HD6XX still blow all of my Bluetooth headphones out of the water. I’m not too picky when I’m on the go but totally understand.

For me it's definitely downsizing from a thick bifold wallet to a thin card holder. I am currently using the Bellroy card sleeve in brown.

my all-time favorite piece and unsung hero is propably my simple black diamond hotforge bent carabiner. It so much in one: its cheap, holds all my keys securely on a single piece of paracord and clips anywhere i want it plus a second set of keys for my car. It opens bottles faster than anything, keeps the heaviest of backpacks plus jackets off the ground wherever i need to hang sth. Its also nice to attach a waterbottle to the outside my backpack when its too full AND fidgets nicely as a bonus. Basically a multitool that is no multitool.
Love the explanation, great pick! I go back and forth with caribiners but can definitely see the appeal. Found one from Wuben a while back that’s Ti with a few tools built in that I really like.
uh yeah ti is a really nice touch, i might have a look into that!
i mean tbh its a big item on your keys but i have to remove a single key quite frequently so this is the most convenient way to meet this requirement. I propably would not carry a carabiner if i had not to do this so often. But since i do, it comes in handy way more often than i expected it to (:
My favorite is the Secrid wallet and Oura Ring.
Seen the secrid mentioned a few times here, looks really interesting! Been really happy with my Ultrahuman so far but hoping to do some oura comparisons down the road to see how they stack up
My favorite piece of EDC gear is the leather wallet I made based off of the Johnny Wallet from Loyal Stricklin. It's lasted me several years, has beautiful patina, and I get to carry something in my pocket that I made.
I love it! I spent a lot of time when I was younger woodworking but have never worked with leather before. Few things beat that feeling of creating something for yourself to enjoy.

Good picks! I’ve braided paracord on my camping knives but haven’t seen a keychain like this one premade before.
That Olight gear is top notch. I have carried the little Olight i1R 2 Pro Kit Small Keychain Light for a couple of years now and it takes so much abuse! I have even run it through the washer and dryer at least twice, with no apparent issues. I am considering the Baton 4, just to have a bit more illumination. Ha, that Casio watch takes me back!

My all-time favorite piece is probably the Gerber Dime. Despite being literally a $25 multitool, it's probably the one tool I've gotten the most use out of over the last like 6 years of owning it. Just the ability to have a reliable beater tool that I don't have to worry about damaging or scratching makes it absolutely invaluable.
The dime is a great pick! I’ve always preferred the squirt line from leatherman but they’re so similar and the dime wins on price. Squirt just got discontinued too so the dime won in the long run haha.
My favorite piece of my EDC is my pocket notebook and a small mechanical pencil. Note taking is one of my favorite daily activities and is part of my academic work.
Love it! I go in and out of physical notes compared to just using my phone notes app but there’s always something nice sticking to analog sometimes.
My all time favorite EDC item has got to be my CIVIVI elementum. The knife isn’t anything extremely special to people in the EDC/knife community but this knife is what got me into the EDC hobby/lifestyle and that’s why it is my favorite
That was one of my first pickups as well, such a great knife! I have the guibortia wood scales and it’s held up so well
I think my all time favorite edc item is my Kizer assassin, its really nothing special but it was my first proper edc knife and it comes to use daily for different tasks. Its slim and lightweight, and most importantly it has a wonderful action for one handed opening (which I need way too often)
Good pick! That’s how I feel about my civivi elementum, one of my first pickups so it has some extra sentimental value. Great knife too!

I get that! I think my usual ideal is micarta or titanium but I’m not too picky.
My all time favorite EDC is my Skeletool CX. I got it used of eBay many years ago, and although I have tired other tools to have in my pocket I always fall back to the Skeletool as it has everything I need to solve those small everyday tasks. If I need anything more it is probably time to find the toolbox or a dedicated tool anyway.

I’ve heard good things about Jabra lately! I used to use them years ago but haven’t tried any of their newer models in a long time
First Jabra earbuds I have had and they have served me well so far.
My all time favorite edc item would probably be the TPT. It’s extremely compact and handy and easily fits in my pocket. Even though there’s the TPT slide, I find that the first gen TPT is adequate for my everyday needs
Utility blades are so useful! Been wanting to pick up a slide to test out but haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet.
All time favorite EDC is easily my iPhone, rotated every two years. However, I also appreciate my Bellroy Lite Sling, Peak Design mobile tripod, Sypderco Native 5, Streamlight 66320, airtag, etc. The Re:Form wallet would be an excellent addition.
Great practical choice with the iPhone! I’m on a 2 year cycle myself too, got the 14 and curious to see what happens with the 16 release this fall

My all-time favorite EDC is the Gerber Shard. The shard has a low profile while being able to perform many different tasks. the screwdriver edge cuts through packages easily while being carry-on friendly. It is also cheap so if it ever gets confiscated at the airport it's not the end of the world.

I've been carrying a Victorinox Swiss Champ for a while now and I love it! Let's see if it becomes an all-time favorite.
