HCN I noticed that. When I posted my first comment I was really interested in toxicology for some reason, and wanted to know how to make different poisons down to the molecular level. Luckily it was a phase that lasted a week.(I still have all my notes and equations here somewhere XD)
I have a very odd question. I have some animals in my attic. No way I can see or access without removing major drywall on ceilings. No crawlspace. Could this gas be a good way to flush them out and make the environment uninhabitable or is it too risky? What gas could be delivered to the attic to effectively repel invaders of all sizes? I suspect rats, squirrels, possums but have no idea really. The crawlspace is so small it's basically not useful for any human.....
Paladin Kor ammonia gas is mustard gas, AKA a chemical weapon, it's thick and heavy. So it might just dissapate down and kill/severely hurt you. I know I'm a year late, but OP don't do this, just get a BB gun or some fire craclers
@@ninetails6218 The obvious choice would be to use a gas generator (eg a kipps aparatus) and react an ammonium salt with a strong base (eg NaOH) using a little water. No heating is needed. No specialist glasswear is required, even a generic plastic bottle would work.
Could you use dilute 'ammonia water' instead? Like you might find as a common cleaning agent?
Less yield and tougher.
mix this with carbon monoxide to make formamide, then combine the formamide with potassium hydroxide to make some artificial almond food flavoring....
xD Good One
Do you Want To Kill Us????
Do You Want Us to Swallow Potassium Cyanide?
HCN Either that, or I'm trying as hard as I can to make a chemistry joke XD
My name look like the Chemical formula of hydrogen cyanide

how to get the specific concentration of the ammonia gas from the method? for example we want to generate 20 ppm of ammonia gas
Yes
I'd still be interested to know how the ammonia was sourced in general.
Haber-Bosh Process
Can I use Ammonium Persulphate for this?
Up next generating liquid water from ice?
lol
ikr?
Thank you,your clever

@@jay8980 Its too late, the guy died.
Fat rip
How can I get lithium bromide
14 moles per liter?? But at STP it's 22.5 liters per mole.
But it is not liquid ammonia, it is ammonium hydroxide which has the concentration of 14 molars (14 moles/liter).
Why not collect the amonia in a rubber ballon?
Perhaps because lack of pressure?
I see. The AMMONIA is made out of AMMONIA out here.
@@electromagic3111 That...sounded wrong on so many levels I can't even describe it.
This is not a good way to generate ammonia, I litterally face palmed watching this
Enlighten us Dave, what is?
