I think the reason Descent got fewer votes is because of it being a newer album and the fact that you were asking for the next album to listen to. Then you might listen to Descent at a later point.
I think part of the reason Descent didn't do as well in the poll was Nija stealing some of the votes. i switched my vote because it was obvious there was no chance it would win.
