This definitely isn't pop punk. Their songs have the happy vibe of pop punk but with a metalcore tuning with prog influences. Top gun (from the top) is a good example of this.

I saw these dudes open for Attack Attack! earlier this month and I'm not gonna lie I knew nothing about these guys but this band was pretty addicting. They opened with this song and most of the crowd knew the lyrics pretty damn well.
