Husker247 Podcast: Special team talk and picking a RB

Husker247 gathered on Tuesday morning to discuss where things sit for Nebraska football in a variety of ways ahead of the Rutgers game on Saturday.
Mike Schaefer and Brian Christopherson went through some of what Matt Rhule addressed on Monday, including his thoughts on the special teams situation, Ceyair Wright, how the Huskers have played on the offensive line and Gunnar Gottula.
Then a longer conversation took place about Nebraska’s running game, maximizing the three-headed running back attack, Jacory Barney’s role and more.
Finally they discussed how valuable John Bullock has been all season and the latest with Micah Mazzccua.

The Sun Bowl used to be the consolation bowl for the Big 8. Most years it came down to the Nebraska Oklahoma game. I remember one year Barry Switzer came into Tom Osborne's press conference before the game with a bag of tacos insinuating that Oklahoma was going to win and go to the Orange Bowl, and Nebraska was stuck going to the Sun Bowl. Classic Switzer.

Watch Gunner on the reach blocks. He is so fast getting in position and setting blocks for outside run. This could really help the 2 Johnsons though I prefer EJ. Donte does not do well outside the tackles though so not a huge benefit there.

Hill traveled to Purdue so he is healthy. Rhule said he would not red shirt.

Is it just me, or is that 6'5 or 6'6 of Gottula much better than the 6'9 of benhart for a tackle. especially run blocking.
