The only thing that worries me about the game is the refs.
I think it'll be a lower scoring game but tOSU is able to control the scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

If we rush for 250 yards, there is no way we lose this game, unless if we completely melt down and turn the ball over 2-3 times and they turn into scores for Oregon. If we play clean, good assignment football, limit penalties and turnovers, control the LOS, I have us winning 28-24 or 31-28.
Also, Austin is downing some fierce moonshine to suggest we will beat Oregon by 28. Never gonna happen.
1) If Bo Nix was still playing for Oregon, the Buckeyes might be in trouble. 2) If both teams play to their maximum potential, Ohio State should win this game by 3 scores. 3) Dillon Gabriel is (probably) not beating Ohio State. Go BUCKS!🅾🌰🏈
If Bo Nix was playing his ninth year of college football? He’s older than CJ. If Stroud was playing, Oregon would get demolished. You could play that game all day.

Having lived in Oregon (Portland) for a decade, I can verify that the toilets, and everything else, flush VERY left. And that's why I am no longer there.

OSU had nowhere near the diversity of offense in those past games. That is the difference. We were more on dimensional (i.e., ND game). We should be able to move the ball with more consistency.
Funny to me how nobody has ants to predict just an average score. Like 31-21 Ohio State feels very realistic but everyone is either close game or absolute blow out

I disagree with Birm as usual. I don’t think Oregons D line can go hard for 60 minutes and their D doesn’t seem to tackle well. That is what I picked up from their Boise St. game. We’ll see tomorrow.
Only one with a bold prediction was Austin. And to be honest, I'm feeling the same way although we know the game isn't played on paper...lol. If this is truly the team that's all about business and focused on a Natty, Oregon won't be getting away with much. If this is the typical team that "hasn't played anyone" and isn't focused it will be a long night with a questionable outcome. Very disappointed in Bill and Birm. Get some backbone with your picks. Mine are that 2 wide receivers and 1 of the running backs will have 100 yards. Be like Austin. Go big or go home...lol. Go Bucks!!!

Ohio State can score a bare minimum of 28 points on anybody in the big 10 and the #2 defense in the country. I see us winning by14 to 17 points minimum. Go Bucks!!!

@@1876Oregon Oregon hit literally the same run sweep for long touchdowns three times in that game. That's not a sign of a functioning or competent defense. Coombs was demoted immediately thereafter.
I think that team would have won in 2021 if, say, Jeff Hafley was still the DC.

I don’t think Denzel Burke is going to have an interception… Because he doesn’t know how to actually play the football in the air when his back is to the quarterback. He and the other cornerbacks just hope that they can knock the ball out of the wide receivers hands after they catch up.
And the Iowa interception last week, would have been passing her Ference had the ball not been tipped… since cornerback held the Iowa player from the snap… Which is also at Ohio State cornerbacks to do now.… Since they are so bad and coverage… Playing the ball.

Ohio State defense has looked more dominant than Oregons. You barely beat Idaho.
While I disagree with OP's overall sentiment, he is right about our corners not playing the ball, igbinosun especially. Davison never turns to look for the ball, and is constantly grabbing and pulling on his man. He's good for at least one PI a game.
And no, Oregon fans have been saying what I’ve been saying… Which is jeanty only got that 70 yard run because of a freakish fumble from our tight end… And he shouldn’t of gotten the ball in the first place.
If Ohio State had the exact same type of game against someone… And one player, on one rush, ran for 70 yards… But for the rest of the game, they shut him down for the most part, when that guy is averaging over 10 yards per carry normally… I would go off of what the actual was outside of that you shouldn’t have gotten.
So with that being said, without that turnover… Oregon would’ve went up by 14, and we would’ve held him to around 122 yards on 24 Carrie’s, which is less than what Jordan James ran per rush in that game. And remember… Oregon couldn’t run the ball according to the national media against Boise State.

Remember this you're not playing Boise State. We have two quality running backs along with a running quarterback along with wide receivers galore. The way Chip Kelly will deploy this offense against your defense is something you have not seen all season long. It should and will be a great game, but Ohio State will pull away and win by at least 14.

@@zachhonaker2364 He was averaging almost 11yds a carry before Oregon. 15 of the 25 carries were 3yds or less…and since then, Oregon has shut teams down. uCLa had 65yds of offense at the end of the first quarter. And at half time, they had 54yds of offense. They lost yardage.
Oregon state went from 300yds/g rushing, and their RBs had 79yds combined, and that was even after bringing in the backups in the 4th.
OSUs RBs will get shutdown since Buckeye fans think they’re gonna rush for over 200yds…LOL
