When I got to this place I noticed that that yard was overgrown and that most doors were just unlocked... But when I got inside I was surprised to find that it was in this state... First, I thought that it was not abandoned but after looking around I found calendars from around 2003. This is a really strange one but at the time I was there it was definitely abandoned.
You are tresspassing a private property. Or just be honest to have arranged a visit to this place from the caretaker.
I’d say they have care takers for it to be so dust free
Why you stoped to show the rest of the castle?!?
Why ist this mansion so clean? And why are you so sweet as far away???? ;)
Why don't you make an offer for the Castle
This abandoned house is cleaner than my room, and I still live in it.
Me2
Lol. Mine 2.
Be frustrated at soulful eyes in the owner's face and keep proving your own inferiority complex, let us enjoy the spiral downward LOL
S M it's not abandoned
2003. Hasn't been abandoned. Too clean.
Pristine condition clearly someone is maintaining this property. Get out.
I think so too, someone is maintaining the place because it's too clean if it's abandoned. Probably the cleaner forgot to lock the castles door.thats why it's left open.
i’m pretty sure that even if it was not abandoned he has permission to be in there
It's ok, the realty company does this advertisemnt.
@@kennysilver3561 Well, then he's lying to his subscribers.
Given what I’ve read about this place, he’s either 100% trespassing or pre-arranged this visit with the owner.
yea definitely. its way too clean an dust free
I suspected as much just from the thumbnail.
I don’t think that place is abandoned.
This guy is an imbecile
It's not abandoned, it's from a man who went to France and this is his second property. Someone broke in and called it 'abandoned', he let someone return to put an alarm on it and call security. That's what I remember from this Dutch castle, it's been in the news papers and this is probably an old video from summer 2018.
@@bartjeuhh790 that's terrible
Definitely didn't look abandoned. Thank you for the info @Bartjeuhh
What he said was there had been no activity at the home from his research since 2003, and the place was at minimum unlocked, because he doesn't break and enter! He doesn't vandalize, and tries to not give locations in hopes that it doesn't get vandalized! It's crazy that if he did have someone coming and going from there for maintenance or whatnot he should have just kept the yard up and that would have caused people to assume someone was present instead of abandoned! We have brand new stuff get abandoned in the states because people will run out of money or this or that and what have you and the sad thing is people still go homeless for one and two vandals, usually kids partying will vandalize these places spray painting and tearing up it is so completely crazy!
We vandalized a place once when I was a kid but we weren't meaning it to be vandalization but now I know it was. We weren't destructive and it was a cinderblock house being built. It was a slow build and the man came out almost every weekend to work on it! All he had up at the time was the back wall and two side walls and nothing more, well his concrete floor! We went in one day and used a roll of duct tape and wrote in big letters with it like a huge banner across the back wall "WELCOME"!!! I'm not even sure if it stayed up until he came out next and I never got the chance to really say welcome and to apologize! I was only 12 at the time! I never did anything like that ever again of course!!! Lol!!
imagine the owner walk in while he's filming this.
Berna S hahahaha
Poor hedwig might have found a crooked spot in cover with all that whitewash unskillfully. No human soul I can feel from this unfortunately. What a miserable guy whose heart sinks at her radiant face in the pics. Moreover, the chateau is not yours that's why they always have damaged stuff LOL
@@hyekang3850 are you okay?
Berna S He more likely got permission from the people who own it and live in it. This place is not abandoned It's far to clean to be abandoned No abandoned place is that clean Not a speck of dust

I don’t think it’s abandon it’s in to good condition you might be trespassing your lucky you didn’t get caught

@@beetlejuice8378 silly, A house gets dusty by running an air conditioner or a furnace. If its abandoned and none of those things are running, it will take longer to get dusty.. But dust settles and within a week you will have a layer of dust.
This house doesn't look abandoned, it looks like the owner lives overseas and will come back for vacation. The house is cleaned periodically by someone. And the way wardrobes are opened proves that it is like that for airation purposes.
Look at the mirror well cleaned.it cannot be abondoned.look at the bathroom.bedrooms are well done.there is not a single layer of dirt or cob webs.
I have to agree. There’s no way this home is abandoned. Abandoned homes are never this clean and organized. Leslie did you research?
This would have became obvious it wasn't abandoned as I walked through it.... I would be thinking... wait... someone is still living hear... too clean and too much stuff here... check the fridge for expiration dates of any food...
Yeah... this is still being used by someone.
Agreed, this mansion doesn't look abandoned. #breaking&entering
Yeah. I found this "exploration" quite disrespectful. Someone obviously was taking care of it. I'd have been furious if it had been my home.
I feel like I’m trespassing just watching this. ✌🏻

same feeling and I dont like it
Oh my God me too !!! It felt as if I'm doing something wrong :O
someone must be taking care of the property its not cobweb covered or dusty
Someone is surely
I noticed that also.
very clean
Yes that was my thought too!! No graffiti, no dust, and all in place! It also surprised me that all art works were still around....
My apartment has more dust ! ..and I haven't abandoned it yet !! lol. Maybe they have a Roomba ! Peace.
"Everything's still here", which means, You, shouldn't be. I think this is staged for tours. No dust on the tables
The building itself I think was built in the 1800s but someone from what I think he mentioned in the earlier video was re occupied and renovated in 2003
There seems to be problems with these vlogs. I will not watch them anymore.
its good to hear the owner of the castle is back and he is starting to renovate the place.

He said it was abandoned in 2003.
Maybe they left this place but want to sell the valuables. Means they not are living here but still taking care of the belongings. So no need to maintain the garden
Abandoned since 2003? Where's all the dust? Why does the refrigerator still smell fresh? I think your tresspassing!
exactly! these should not be posted. may encourage vandalism. think about it if you had such a place and someone uninvited came in videotaped without your permission and posted online. I'd feel violated. on another note, I do enjoy your style and quality of content. your manner is quite respectful and enchanting, full of wonder and appreciation for beautiful things. Some of your videos of the truly abandoned places give me such a feeling of lack of closure as I would like to know what happened to these people to cause them to walk away from their properties.
There's no way on 🌎 you guys actually thought this house way abandoned!? Everything is spotless and well-maintained and gives no appearance of being abandoned.
This is NOT ABANDONED! someone else did a video in this place, and it is NOT ABANDONED! It's a seasonal vacation home. You need to be careful where you go.
I wish I could afford to "abandon" a home like that for 6 months!
Miss Robin Martz Not with all that stainless in the kitchen. Could you imagine watching UA-cam and watching your own house be “explored?” You should be able to leave your house unlocked and still expect people not to trespass.
damn it Robin, watch the WHOLE video. He explains that at the end of it.

I wonder if he has seen this video! It would be nice if he did and had that guy arrested for what he did!
@unlucky1956But he didn't. No one that owned a mansion like that who allow someone to video his home and his things to put on UA-cam for every sort of person to see. That is like saying here is what I have to steal and it is easy to walk inside without a key, etc.

@Bros Of Decay, I believe the word you were looking for was "Vacant" as opposed to "Abandoned". I've seen dozens and dozens of your productions and do NOT believe you were attempting to fool anyone, as was indicated by many comments below. It is clear from your impeccable reputation that you were being truthful when producing this video. Thank you as always!
Are you sure this is abandoned? That looks like someone is possibly taking care of it. Such a wonderful explore, very sad that people do not value the things they own, especially family heirlooms as well as photo albums. Please stop showing identifying information like pictures, it’s disrespectful! I’m sure people are going to look this castle up and steal from and destroy it, very sad ☹️✌️☹️
Erin Bricker - Urban Historian ~ Yeah, he said that at the end. I’m Glad to know that.
Very abandoned, did you see all of the cobwebs everywhere, all the dust, broken windows, mold and mildew.. awful just awful.. till the owner came home..
Why would you walk in there and still think it's abandoned. Obviously you trespassed in someones home.
Wasn't abandoned someone just trespassed before you did... if the owner is still alive, than it's not abandoned under any international law.. Just your way of wiggling your way out of your mistake..
@@davehibbs9111 How do you know if the owner is still alive? Unless if you do some extensive research, you really wont know. Also in some places, if a squatter lives in a vacant home (owned or abandoned) for a certain amount of time, they can gain possession of the property. It happened in California and it can happen anywhere else.
@plaguelock Read the news and laws on squatters rights. It differs between states and countries. Squatters can acquire the title of the land or home they occupy by adverse possession just as long as they don't get caught within the time frame. It takes years to do so and a lot of the laws in each state requires squatters to pay property tax. It has happen a handful of times already and just this month, a squatter was awarded the title for a $1.7 million dollar house in Sydney due to squatters rights.
@@KagusakiUrufu In NJ you can also gain ownership by squatting in a property and documenting maintenance of it for a specific period of time.
The table cloth on the outside table looks pressed and awfully clean for being outside at an abandoned mansion for so long
I think you just broke into someones home...abandoned homes don't stay that clean.
I believe your trespassing. Or you got permission from the owners to make a video saying it's abandoned. That place is so neat and tidy. Not one person would leave a house that fully furnished. No dust anywhere. It's spotless inside.
ok take a look at a video by Steve Ronin ' abandoned japanese billionaire's mansion ' and tell us no one leaves this type of things behind??!!

Looks abandoned on the outside but inside there is a maid of some sort. Seems strange that you found an open door! Maybe someone allowed you to go in and film this one! Beautifully furnished, almost like a museum. Thanx
Most doors where unlocked Gerald :O And it was pretty difficult to reach the castle through the overgrown Yard
Maid had no problem getting thru the overgrown yard 😂
A sneak peek into the lives of rich people. They own Several different mansions And they go to them When they're in the area. I don't think this House is abandoned if it was For 20 years, maybe 21. There would be a lot more dust like,Some of the ceiling Falling in? Things of that nature. I'm not seeing that here. I think we're looking at, like I said, is a place that is used Whenever the owner is in the area.
Are you sure they weren't just at work and left the door open? :)
Haha no David most doors where unlocked it was pretty strange!
Brilliant video.Respect to the Dutch for not vandalising or stealing anything from the castle.🇬🇧
They might not of known it was empty. If the word wasn’t put out that these guys got in and the cops didn’t start watching this place am sure bad would’ve come of it. There bad people everywhere you watch videos of Orther channels in different country and as soon as the word got out things started to disappear. I just glad that people protected this place before that could happen here
Lady Tron he might of stolen how do we know?
Vicki Temnoff That true we don’t know for 1 hundred percent. Just a guess.
Dank je wel. Bros of Decay.. ❤Lesley.. ik kijk. Graag. Naar. Jouw, vlugs.❤. Thanks. ……🇱🇺👏👁️👁️🥰
I don't think that place was abandoned it looked it clean
It was dusty
How is this possible I just don’t believe it. Too clean. You can see the reflection of the Room in the spotless glass table. All valuables still there.
That is FAR to CLEAN to be ABANDONED. Whether you realize it or not, someone HAS to be taking care of that place. I'd be very nervous just wandering through there if I was you. If anything turns up missing, you could be accused of stealing it. I wouldn't have stepped foot in there. Obviously that place is being maintained by someone. If it was truly abandoned, everything would be dusty and dirty, and you appear to have illegally entered the house and are rummaging through personal property, and you filmed yourself doing it. I'd be nervous about being arrested if I was you. The door not being locked, as you claim, is completely irrelevant. As soon as you stepped foot on the land you're trespassing, and as soon as you stepped foot in the house, you were breaking and entering, which here in America is a Class A Felony, and you go to jail for that.
They broke into the castle, its not abandoned.
Someone broke in before he trespassed so justification somewhere for them. Called saying what ever it takes to make the story sound good.. use to love this channel till I heard alot is fake and sometimes broken into..
Looks like a hotel or spa
It does
I don’t understand how every surface of this home is absolutely dust free and spotless! If this was abandoned for all these years there would be nothing left inside, graffiti everywhere, and 12 inches of dust, filth, and dirt everywhere!! Those closed refrigerators would of been absolutely rotten inside, especially being closed! Hmmmmm! Something fishy is going on here!
Isn't this trespassing?
wow that’s clean, I usually get dust the second after I finish dusting the piano😂😂
lol !!! Dusting loop for eternity!! AAAHHH!! :)
👋 HOla Precioso Cuídate Mucho Cuando Graves tus videos Dios bendiga ati y atu camarografo saludos tu amiga Anita de saltillo México 👍😘
Just beautiful...Here in the US it would be totally gutted in a weeks time!
Bextar636 am sure people didn’t know for the most part but you can bet if the word didn’t get out that these guys got in bad would of happened to this place. Luckily people care about this home and didn’t let it happen but there bad people everywhere. Almost all the homes showed on different channel end up bad
@Bextar, for sure. Even the indoor plumbing in abandoned houses is gutted. The stolen copper pipes are sold for money.
drugs make people not think clearly. Sad but true.
Bextar636 sad to say but, in the US, it would've been gutted and graffiti all over it.
Bextar636 you must live in shit hole part of country ive had a vacant place for 8 years with no problem have cameras conected to internet so i can monitor from anywhere
I find this really rude it's someone's home you should not be there regardless of the supposed situation.
Man........I could move in right away......no problem.......😁 Great vlogs FTD 👍🏻🤘🏻🤟🏻
I've seen this before and I want to say it's not abandoned.
It looks so incredibly well kept for an abandoned place, perhaps the ghosts are clean freaks? Whether abandoned or otherwise, thank you for the content. It's a privilege to view inside these beautiful homes, I hope you're not going to get into trouble or legal difficulties if indeed, the home is still technically occupied in that it's owned by a private person or company. It is a beautiful home ... but I think this one isn't abandoned. The piano being so out of tune indicates the home isn't used that much, I suggest - or at least, not permanently occupied. Thank you, again, for uploading.
Did you just rent it yourself to make a video or dit you get permission because in the Netherlands we sure know how to look our doors. We also take good care of our monumental heritage. If you buy a monumental building there is a maintenance obligation by law.
How beautiful. I hope no one finds it and takes things and destroys it.
Tracy Zentz - I agree 👍
i dont see enough dust to be abandoned since 2003
I think there was a care taker there. There was no dust any where? This looked like the owner was ready to return Any day. Thanks for the showing. Only i wish you would have taken more time in each room
Stay safe. Hears a kiss for you. USA
Ik weet de naam van dit Kasteel/landhuis(maar ik zeg het niet) woon namelijk in de omgeving waar dit is.
