I have a cat that is going bad and causing a lot of heat sink and increased engine bay temps. Time for some resonated test pipes! Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it.
Oooo interesting! Let me now how the resonated test pipes are and how they are compared to the cats!
Thank you for watching I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Certainly sounds a lot nicer, the suffering was worth the result. Some advice - when you reassemble everything you should use copper or nickel grease on all grease on all your bolts, less suffering next time round.
Definitely worth the pain hahaha. Oh yess I was going to grab some at the shops but completely forgot hhaha.
I removed the passenger side cat and removed the demon bold and the top nut on the driver side but the one stud at the bottom I can not remove it, there is no space to spin my ratchet 😢 all I need is the one stud and be done but there’s always something I swear.
Yeah it’s definitely and annoying one. Try going through the wheel well and try finding a position through the gap
Did you get a check engine light? Thanks!
No engine light at all, been about a month and a bit and still no engine light
So basically before you remove the sensors you have to unplugged the battery first right?
Yes definitely, I do it every time I’m working on electrical stuff just incase. Better be safe than sorry
My shop down the road is installing HFC on my 370z, they’re only quoting 2 hours install time.
Oh nice! What hfc did you go with?
@@HustleGarageTV fast intentions 😈
Niceee!!
How did the cats and install cost?? Thinking about doing mine.
@@killadelphia215 approx $1200 parts and labor, you will get a check engine light after you install HFC. It’s unavoidable!
Hey did the exhaust Nautically got louder?
Assuming you meant noticeably. Yeah it definitely did, like not obnoxiously but noticeably louder with a deeper sound
Would you recommend doing this myself or take to workshop?
If you’re patient and know your way around tools. Save yourself the money and do it yourself hahaha
fautzi just so you know you can get the demon bolts from the bottom, trick is to take the subframe shroud off and the front wheels. fyi
Mmmm that’s way to much extra work to get to those bolts hahah
But that’s good to know
What brand are the cats?
They are invidia cats
After test pipe installed did you get any power gain? Pops or crackle?
You won’t get any gains without a tune tbh, it does pop on downshift with revmatch but if you want the loud pop and crackles, you need the map from a tune
@@HustleGarageTV I have already muffler delete it pops and crackle, now about to do cats delete
@@autoperformance503 yeah nicee, that’ll be from the car running lean (lean pops). It’ll pop and crackle more if you do test pipes
@@HustleGarageTV how much the tune cost ?
@@autoperformance503 mmmm depends on where you go. Here in Australia it’s like AUD$1000+
Love your videos. I like to see local UA-camrs. Are you north or south?
Keep killing it bro! Hope to see you out there one day.
Thank you heaps! Appreciate it so much! I’m south of the river 😂 yesss for sure!
Hey mate any drone inside the cabin and how much lounder inside the cabin?
Barely any drone in the cabin, I comfortably daily drive this as well. It is noticeably louder on acceleration but still quiet on idle
Hi there any cabin drone I’m about order them hi flows for my roadster because I already have their invidia Gemini and it’s a little too quiet
Can’t say exactly with the invidia Gemini, but I’ve had a few friends with that set up and it sounded amazing with not any excessive drone. You will get some drone with any high flow cats or test pipes, it all comes down to your full exhaust set up
What cutback exhaust do u have
Yeah a fast intentions catback
Next time use a torch bro and PB blaster break bolts easyer
Yeah can do but if it works it works
Hey bro! Are you selling your oem red front bar??
Hey man, nah not atm. Looking for a new oem front bar tbh, cause this one is kinda shot
OOOOOOOO DAMN.
Hehehe makes such a good difference 😍
Can I get a flame time with hfc?
HFCs wont get you flames, you’ll need test pipes and the flame tune
@@HustleGarageTV ohhh okay thanks cuz I searched test pipes on Z1 and I thought the resonated HFC was a test pipe and I accidentally bought it, but I got the resonated test pipe also cuz I wanna shoot flames, lol
Yeah resonated test pipes will give you flames and also eliminate some drone hahah. Enjoy them!
Youre in Australia? I had no idea lmal
Hahaha yes I am 😂
Fck yeah 👍🏿💪🏿
Hahaha yess!
Emphasis on Hustle
Always hahah
Oh sorry I see fbi nice
Yeah hahaha thank you
