    Nicely explained video on Bragg's law establishment condition,with proper explanation of path difference and it's influence on x-ray diffraction. Most of the videos on youtube are just accompanied by poor/no explanation👍

    Mam can u plz tell me that if we increase or decrease the wavelength of incident beam in comparison to d(interplanar distance)then why does the wave doesnt penetrate in the crystal..I mean to say how does wavelngth actually affect the penetration of wave in crystal?

      It's not the wavelength that is changed, it's the angle that is changed until such an angle is reached that produces a constructive interference of the scattered x-ray waves coming out from subsequent atomic planes. X-rays penetrate through the crystal but the only thing that affects the image is the way they interfere(constructively or destructively)

    How to constructive interference occur if two rays travel at different paths for constructive interference the rays must be travel at same path??

    What is meant by order of reflection?

    • @PolymerWorld
      @PolymerWorld  2 роки тому +2

      The order of the reflection (n) corresponds to the path difference between X-rays diffracted from two different layers of crystals. So if extra distance traveled by X-ray is exactly one wavelength, it is a first order reflection, if path difference is equal to two wavelength order of the reflection is second order.

    I also want to know that when an incident beam strikes on atom then the wave is scattered in all 3D space then how does we sum up all those reflections in one particular direction like u have shown in diagram???? Im waiting for ur reply ...Plz try to reply as soon as possible..
