Love your robe it looks beautiful. I have the same issue with standard provided robes. I think I will make one the same to take to hotels, spas etc. I think I will re join cashmerette club to when I have more dosh.
Hi Sarah, thank you for explaining how Cashmerette club works. Had been looking at subscription didn't realise you didn't get access to back patterns without paying for full year. What i like about your sewing is that you introduce us to some not so well known patterns to explore. Love the robe look forward to seeing your swimwear.
The Lygon robe is one I want to sew soon. I need a lightweight robe for summer. I felt the same way about some of the Cashmerette Club releases. Did not renew. Need to focus on patterns I have and new ones that I know I will sew soon.
Yes I agree- there are some really good patterns but there have to be enough that you actually will sew up. I think I will go through the back catalogue and see how many I think I could actually make before I consider signing up again
Hi Sarah, i bet you are so glad the end is in sight with regards to your renovations. You'll be excited to be back home and in your own sewing room. Love your robe, and im so glad you are venturing into swimwear, as i fancy giving it a go, too.
Thanks Annette - I honestly can't wait to be home, although facing decorating and unpacking feels like a huge task atm 😅 planning some Swimwear is a nice distraction xx
Bathing suits are such a pain, regardless of your body type. You’re a braver soul than I am to consider making your own! I will be watching expectantly for updates. 😊. I love your robe, and I’m pretty sure Nate will want one 😉
Love the robe. I’m sure Nathan will want one too when he sees yours. In my ideal craft room i’d love a cutting table. Hope the final stages of your renovation go well and you’re back home soon. Just sent you something on Instagram about a swimwear idea xxx
Thanks lovely - and on IG too! I would love a cutting table 💕 not sure I will have space in the craft room, but hopefully I might have luck on the kitchen island 👀😅
Have you looked at Greenstyle patterns? I haven't got any of theirs yet but they have a few different swimwear designs. I want to make some swimwear too, I like one-piece vintage-y styles with a bit more coverage but I also have a very long torso so wedgies are a constant risk 😂
Love your vloggs - always inspiring. They designer fabric you talked about last time is sold out - I went straight to the site after watching you. The fabric is so gorgeous 😍Re your search for a swim suit pattern a UA-camr with the channel called Amy of Melbourne has researched size inclusive swim wear patterns and she goes through a lot of makers. it is very interesting - so many I've never heard of but I recall there were two or three designers that had ruching down the sides. Good luck!
Thanks Helen - I will take a look at that vlog, sounds ideal. Hopefully she might find some more of that fabric - it has gone in and out of stock a couple of times I think 🙏🏻
I used to visit Isabella Plantation as a child as I grew up in New Malden. Love your robe. Have you looked at butterick 5795 swimsuit pattern? I've not tried it but the pattern is pretty and has ruching.
Take the plunge by Patterns for Pirates has great style lines to create roushing over the stomach, I think they size inclusive too. I’m planning to make my first swimsuit this year and have been looking for exactly the same thing.
Hi Sarah! Great to see you! We bought a house that was 70 years old and trust me. I understand about problems with an old house. I am not sure if I told you I reached 1K yesterday on my channel!

Thanks Jenni - definitely worthwhile I think!

I am counting down the days (more like weeks really, but still!) Xx

He will definitely want one 😅 I am a bit scared re: Swimwear but I hate shopping for it too, so I figure if I persevere it could be worth it!

Ooo I haven't! I'll take a look - thank you 💕 the thought of fitting a Swimsuit properly is what keeps putting me off 😅

Fab suggestion, thanks Kate. I love the details on the front 💕
