Different performers, different outcomes. The Twins may not be martial artists but they weren't exactly slacking off under Donnie's direction either. They did decent in The Twins Effect, and does here as well. Plus it's a no-nonsense type of HK comedy movie so the fight scenes are supposed to be light-toned and amusing.
Just like Keanu & Mickey Rourke's nasty ass is a joke and not a real martial artist, but people think he is just becaseu he was choreographed in a movie.
I never got a chance to watch this movie. And thank good. Ever since the HK handover to china, HK cinéma hasn't been the same. Even Stephen Chow has been making crappy movies and he is usually known for making goofy comedies.

The other two are just singer/actress, but Chris Yen is a real martial artist.
