Oh yes it does but it is quite hard for many people since it requires patience and training. That's why we focus on physiological triggers in our coaching approach that work in real time. What kind of meditation do you practice?
@@ChrisSurel1 when I meditate I just calm down my mind and simply watch my thoughts. Bringing silence to my mind allows me to increase my attention but it's difficult to fall in sleep if you do that So I just calm down my mind observe my thoughts and just fall in sleep
This is very interesting but I have one question about the sunlight. For example, in my city yesterday was a nice weather and the sun was shining but today it is cloudy, there is no sunlight at all and this is probably how it's gonna be for most of Autumn and Winter. What about those days? Is there an alternate option for "looking into the sunlight"?
Great question Natalie - thanks for asking. Well first of all the photons from the sun also enter your eyes when the sky is cloudy. But in this case you have to stay outside for much longer to compensate for the reduced intensity. In general I recommend my clients to use artificial daylight lamps in the darker months of the year... But it's a challenge. Most people in modern societies don't get enough light into their eyes and destroy their circadian rhythm... Does this answer your question? Topics like these are exactly what we discuss and answer in "our world" of strategic recovery enthusiasts ;)
Thank you for you feedback. Well we are doing A LOT of testing and research around sleep tracking. I don't want to promote or devalue any brands here publicly but I can tell you that there are way more acurate sleep trackers out there. Send me a mail on LinkedIN and I can tell you which ones we use in our daily practice...
once is already enough. you can also repeat 2-3 times. no limits here. just listen to your body what feels right for you ok? but one 2-1-6 is already a significant change in your autonomic arousal level...
Yes, our eyes need to be open so the photons can hit our melanopsin cells in our retina. BUT - we're talking about low solar angle sunlight early in the morning and late in the evening. Make sure you never look into sunlight when it hurts your eyes; our optical cells cannot be restored once they are damaged! Thanks for your interest in strategic recovery!
Hello Chis, thank you very much for this speech :) My smart watch says that i have 2+ hours deep sleep and i am still feeling like a zombi^^ If i put the smart watch on my girlfriend it says 4+ hours. Is that possible to have so much deep sleep or is this watch unbalanced?^^
smart watches are typically VERY inaccurate when it comes to sleep stages recognition... your numbers just prove it another time (and I've seen hundreds of other examples showing the same...)
@@ChrisSurel1 I sleep more than 7 hours, still feel very drowsy, don't feel like exercising or working out For a few months now I have been trying to get into the habit of sleeping less or getting a good amount of sleep. I tried to go to bed early but still could not get up early. I'll try what you said and let you know if it works for me. thanks for making this video

Thank YOU Janina for your great feedback and your interest in strategic recovery. Will you try it out?
Hi Chris,
Is the 2-1-6 formula better an improved verison of the 4-8-4 formula you teached last year?
My question is also, how often do you have to do these breathing technice per evening ?
For how long do we do the 216 protocol before going to bed.....or how many breaths should one perform?

When you say take 10 mins of sunlight in your eyes, do you mean that look at the sun with the eyes open? Will that not damage the eyes?

Cross culture is different culture of one country to other country.
Like body language, supernatural things, or others
Yes, ME :-) and thousands of my clients around the globe. Will you try them out too?
Try to stop watching screens instead read some books.
