One thing I like about seat adjustments is that the seat control is located on the door instead of the seat. So when you are adjusting your seat, you can actually see what you are doing. You can lower, tilt and extend the bottom of the seat. Also you can electrically adjust the backrest and headrest of the seat to the best possible position. Also there is an inflatable lumbar control on the side of the seat. Optionally you can get the heated and cooling seats...

I've just bought a 2017 C200 Sport Premium and found the owner's manual totally confusing. This video ( and I hope there are many more ) has clarified a lot for me, but I've still a long way to go before I can regard myself as fully being fully conversant with the car.

Possibly whoever set up mine was overly conservative. I looked through almost all your videos but I’m not able to find it. I just got a c63s. Being technologically challenged, I cannot figure out what the various buttons on the center console are for? One looks like the cars exhaust. Do you have a video re: the center console? One other thing, how o I find out IF my car has a cd hard drive, and how to find out how much hard drive space there is?

Probably your car has the "Performance Exhaust" option. If you turn on, the exhaust roar sound will be mean and loud. But if you like your neighbors, you can turn it off, and your car will be quiet and smiley. :)

You make it all seem so simple..but it's not. I don't have a clue how you figured everything out, but I'm glad you did.
I have a 2015 Mercedes C 300. When I was first driving it, when I would put it in Drive it would show (D) I don't know what's happened but now after I put it in Drive it goes from D1, D2, D3, D4, etc & its changing gears on it's own. How do I get it to stay in D & stop shifting gears?
The other thing I noticed in your video that when you put the car in reverse your back up camera came on. Mine doesn't come on the screen so is this just a setting that I might have turned off? I've never seen the camera & didnt even know it was there but it would be nice to use it.

You can't stop transmission from shifting, but it shifts automatically, showing you the gear, because you can go into shifting mode, using your steering wheel pedals. In 2015 C-Class, the rear camera was optional, so your car may not have it.
@@MBZMaster I was just trying to get the car to stay in regular D like it used to be because it seems to handle differently & kind of jerky& not as smooth now that its shifting D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6. . I let someone use my car & ever since I got it back it does this gear shifting.
Also, do you know if a Mercedes dealer would be able to install the rear view camera in my car?

You don't need to reset tire pressure sensor unless you changed the tires completely, just need to correct the tire pressure. Watch my 2nd video of Mercedes Manual series here: bit.ly/MBZM-VM2

Most likely yes. Maybe not MB dealership, but some shop specializing in MB. Because you need to diagnose the source of the problem, which may be something other than just a USB card.
Hi. You were asking on a more recent video of yours for suggestions for a video. How about "pre-emptive driving setting", particularly for the C class 350e( which I have lol). This is a setting where the car picks up on the driving patterns & habits of the driver & accordingly if the car is driven more on the motorway or more minor roads etc. It needs to be reset from a previous owner. can you listen music and use the navigation at the same time?
Of course, just touch RADIO hard plastic button, while using the Navi, and find the station you want to listen. Or hit Media hard button if you want to listen to CD or any different music. Once you set the music, you can touch Navi hard button again, if you'd like to display map on the screen, while listening to the music. I'm planning to make a video tutorial on how to use Navigation, so subscribe to my channel to be notified.

Not always. But if you notice a longer than usual starts, that may indicate that battery needs to be looked at.

Hope you can help, I'm trying to use the voice control to make a phone call, I have the phone in the car connected to Bluetooth but every time I press the voice control on the steering wheel it defaults to the sat nav, I have tried pressing the Tel button to have the Tel screen on the main screen and Tel on the smaller window in front of steering wheel and then pressing voice button but still reverts to sat nav commands, car is a c220, 2015 sport, blurted, I thank you for a prompt response, - Alan.
You have to have a Multimedia package, in order to have a Voice Control. So, it looks like your car doesn't have it, therefore you don't have a Voice Control in your car. So, if you don't have Multimedia - you also don't have the original Navigation. However, you probably have the optional Garmin Accessory Navigation system, which is located on SD Card inserted inside the middle armrest compartment. Garmin comes with its own Voice Control. That's why the only thing you can control by voice is your Garmin Navi. Most features can be easily controlled without the Voice. For reverse parking mode does it only work on passenger side mirror only? Not both mirrors??
Yes, because you are parking against the curb, which is on the passenger side. There is no curb on the driver side, therefore it doesn't need to tilt.
Tks for yr reply. For Ford Mondeo, both mirrors can be adjusted for reverse mode.
i hv another question ~ what will happen if i accidentally put the gear to reverse mode while I’m driving (wrongly shift the gear upward)? Would the car move forward or stop or reverse?
Personally I wouldn't want the driver mirror to tilt, because it would impair my vision of what's going on behind the car. As far as your second question - I never tried to reverse while going forward, so I don't know what would happen. In older cars, your transmissions gears would be damaged, but on the newer models, especially equipped with an electronic gear shifter I would think there is some kind of protection - like going into the neutral instead of reverse gear.
Does a 2015 c300 does it come with the features with the back up camera and if so what settings do I turn on trying to figure it out ?
It used to be optional, so not all of them have it. There are no settings. It would just turn on automatically when you engage the Reverse. One thing I don’t like about my c300 is that you have to hold the memory setting until it goes to place. Feel like that should be just a one touch feature
I believe MB had some legal issues with the self-moving seats because some kid got stuck in the rear seat at one point. They don't want the seat to move automatically every time you press the Smart-Key or M button, unless you hold a Memory button and can release it immediately when needed. It also prevents from the accidentally hitting M button while driving, because you can get in accident if everything starts moving while driving.
Well that makes sense. Just my wife is 4”10 and I feel like I got to hold down the number 1 for like 2 minutes lol

Bro i need help,w205 amg c63,when i put ac in auto or normal and adjust fan speed high then low,the rear back ac unit stays on a high speed and wont match the front fan speed,i hate reaching around to lower the speed of thr rear ac unit,any ideas.
You may have 4-zone climate control, so you need to switch to the REAR button at the front to control it. Or better switch to ALLbutton to control all 4 zones with a single switch.

The right seat adjusts while the Left driver's seat refuses to adjust ,why
If I roll my back right window down from drivers seat it will not roll up. I have to get out of my car, open back right door, and roll window up from the exact back right door. Is that an easy fix?
If you can roll the rear window from the back, but can't from the front - it means the problem is not with the window, but probably the front switch. Someone need to check the connector and also the switch itself. Replace if needed.

That particular model was not offered for sale in the U.S. market, so you need to check with your local MB dealership.

This model wasn't available for sale in U.S, so I don't have manuals. Do some search online, I'm sure you'll find it.

It's based on the type of your tires. There should be a sticker affixed inside the front door B-Pillar with the recommended pressures.
Hello MMaster I have a 2016 MB C300. I have been using Mbrace to remotely start our car. As of nov 2022 it is obsolete because it was on a 3G network. Now we dont have a way to remotely start our car. Do you have a trick so we can start it remotely. Verizon has a program that restores everything mbrace offers but not remote start. PLEASE HELP !!
There are hundreds of aftermarket companies, like Viper etc., that make very inexpensive remote-start add-ons. Just do some search online.

E400 is not an AMG. It may have a Sport package designed by AMG, but it's not an AMG model, like E43 or E63.

It's for 2015 - 2020 C-Class, which is stated in the title of the video. However, some features may work even in the previous year models, especially the features I demoed in the 1st part of the video bit.ly/MBZM-VM-1, but you just need to try and see if it works in your car.

Has your car ever been in an accident? Maybe the front sensor needs to be realigned.
@@MBZMaster yes it has been, where the sensor located , I don’t find it in the front bumper .
This sensor has to be calibrated professionally at your local MB dealer. It's not something easy that you could do yourself.

Why don't you use Android Auto or Apple Carplay? It's more accurate and free updates.
I am for for now. I have to have my phone plugged in via USB. But I would like to use the car’s navigation system. I just get an error message when I select navigation. Error message is ( please install compatible navigation software from the SD card or consult your Mercedes-Benz partner for system software updates. Version. 16/26.00 )

You need to get MB Entry Sd Card (not Garmin). You can get from MB Dealer or search online, maybe even used. Read my article I wrote on that subject on my website here: mbzmaster.com/2019-mercedes-c-class-3-navigation-options-pros-and-cons.

Check the plug, usually under the seat, and also there is a plug behind the switch in the door. Make sure both are connected properly.
If the headrest sounds very funny after a minor accident, how can it be repaired ?
Front or rear headrests? Manual or electrical. What does "sounds funny" mean?
@@MBZMaster front one, manual. I hear several metallic parts hitting each other as if they're detached from their place.
Try to detach them completely, and see if noise disappears. If yes, then try to insert them back and see if it's fixed.
@@MBZMaster I detached it but noise won't go away. And it's exactly like yours in the video, it has to be opened ? Cut the leather outside?
So if you removed the headrests and noise is still there, it means no problem with headreasts. You need to pinpoint the source of the noise. Maybe your seat bolts are loose. Try to push the seat up and down or maybe remove it. It's unusual to have something loose inside the seat, but you can disassemble it from the back. Or maybe consult any of your local body shops.

Depending on the model, usually you need to rotate the steering wheel adjustment knob.
