I didn’t realise you got some great video from the stitchy day! 😁 great video as always and congrats on the finishes a part round robin is definitely finish 😁
If you get another round robin where you have to match the "other" way of crossing stitches, try turning both the fabric and pattern round 90 degrees. I did it for a project that I found in a charity shop psrt completed.
@@madgrandma yes a great idea! One of the round Robin ladies also suggested it to me at the time but because I've never done it before I was scared I would somehow mess up by rotating it so just did it as it was. But if I do another one at some point with less time pressure I'm definitely going to try it x
I love your koi dragon, I just finished Dance of Lake Depths by the same designer and I’m in love. I want to do more by her but I’m worried about them being full coverage which is a bit much for me - the one I’ve done had options for full coverage or not but I can’t tell if the others are the same. I love the Books are Magic pattern too - I don’t normally stitch anything with words but I think this may have to be an exception!
I would say that my koi dragon is pretty much full coverage. I know it's a circle with wiggly sort of edges for the dragon "frills" but within the circle as it were, everything is stitched whether full cross or half cross for shading. I can't say whether they all are like that, I have a few other in my stash I'm sure but not looked at them in detail beyond buying them at the time! I definitely want to finish mine within this year if I can. Are you on Instagram? What's your name there. Love to have a peek at your finished one if its on there 😊 xx
Hi Lauren! Couple questions, can I buy the Aida that is similar to Wrendale, oatmeal colour with speckles? Also, on your friends cross stitch at the retreat, what was the purple and pink rubbery things on her work? Do they keep the material out the way? Great video as always xx
@@ljcreations6094 hi, you can buy the actual speckled Wrendale evenweave and aida directly from bothy threads own website. They don't allow bothy kit stockists to stock the fabric but you can buy it from them 🙂 Rosie was using magnetic silicone clips on her project to hold the material yes. I tried them once, mine were from amazon and I think they weren't strong enough, I must have not bought the right ones so they were no good for me but I see a lot of others use them. Unfortunately can recommend which to buy as I didn't have any luck myself. x
Dear Cross Stitch Bunny thank you for all your videos. I been watching since you filmed your 3 part video filming all your stash. Can I ask why do flosstubers worry about all their cross stitches "legs" being all the same. Maybe cause I'lm doing full coverage but I dend to turn my work every which way and my legs are in all different directions but I don't notice any difference .
It's not really a flosstube thing and more that I was taught to stitch with the legs all going in uniform direction. So if they aren't, it feels wrong and annoys me to look at it 😊
The Koi dragon is coming along so well! Fab stitchy progress!
Hi Lauren, lovely update, fab progress on your dragon, every time I see it I want to go get one!! Lol

I love your koi dragon. It feels so autumnal. ❤
@@lynncordova8169 it's the closest thing I Have to an autumn wip because of the colours 😅 I think that's why it's getting so much love at the moment x
Love the KOI dragon. Cute Christmas start
Thank you ❤️

@@The.monogamous_cross.stitcher you were too busy socialising to see me with the camera out 😅 xx
If you're working on a group stitchy piece again, you can try just turning the work 90° (and the pattern), then your natural stitches will match 😊 xx
A few others have said this but I can't get my brain around it 🤣 scared ill make a mess with rotating things
