this is actually amazing!!! i'll use it as main reference to do similar works! but unfortunately, I struggle to get the tones, do you have any tip? and the watercolour touch is such a good detail. congratulations
+HogHab The problem with Chines ink is that you get the right tone ,but when you turn back few minutes after , it fades out . then you add again and again ink until it comes definitively good . So I'm not surprised with your constation.
The white you put right at the end for the atmospheric looked like it went on very opaque. Does it fade when drying or did you lift it out or water it down before it dried?
+allanpennington It's white gouache and water. But effectively, when it dries it always fade out and even now I'm always afraid when i do that because I'm sure that I've done "too much" and in fact it's never enough . And of course it's better to be able to do only in one shot because doing that we disturb every time the pigment behind and we could "destroy" the painting .
+Umberto Rossini Good to know Umberto, thanks. I am very much a beginner and would like to re-create something like this photo, but it may well be far beyond me at the moment. www.pinterest.com/pin/341499584224424129/

does anybody know what it translates to?
The characters look like they are Gibberish. That is why he said don't translate.
Cool but is Not monochrome. Has different hues
