अमीश समुदाय की तरह, मेनोनाइट समुदाय के लोग भी उसी तरह रहते हैं जैसे वे 200 साल पहले रहा करते थे. वे आधुनिक दुनिया को अस्वीकार करते हैं और उसकी जगह अपनी एक अलग-थलग दुनिया में रहना पसंद करते हैं. यह फिल्म धर्मभीरू इंजील ईसाइयों के इस अज्ञात समुदाय पर रोशनी डालती है.
मध्य अमेरिका में लिटिल बेलीज कॉलनी पहली नजर में समय के साथ ठहर गई मालूम पड़ती है. वहां के लोगों के पास टीवी, कंप्यूटर या कारें नहीं हैं, वे घोड़ागाड़ियों पर घूमते हैं और एक पुरानी, कब की भुलाई जा चुकी जर्मन बोली बोलते हैं जिसे प्लाट डॉयच के नाम से जाना जाता है.
उनका खुद का बनाया, दूसरों से अलग रहने का नियम, मेनोनाइट्स को आधुनिक समाजों के प्रलोभनों से बचाने में मदद करता है. लेकिन धीरे-धीरे प्रगति लिटिल बेलीज में प्रवेश कर रही है. समुदाय के एक पूर्व चिकित्सक विल्हेल्म को हाल ही में मोबाइल फोन रखने के कारण निष्कासित कर दिया गया. इस समुदाय के कुछ और कट्टरपंथी सदस्यों ने पेरू के जंगलों में एक नई, और भी अलग थलग कॉलोनी बनाने का फैसला लिया है. उन्हें उम्मीद है कि इस कदम से वे एक अबाधित, धर्मभीरू जीवन जीना जारी रख सकेंगे और अपने मूल सिद्धांतों के प्रति सच्चे बने रहेंगे. इस तरह के मेनोनाइट समुदाय पर बनी ये पहली फिल्म है.

The pronunciation of language is very familiar to Indian Devanagari I don't know why but the pronunciation is very familiar. The moment when teacher learn about alphabets the pronunciation of alphabet is also very familiar to Indian Devanagari but the way of writing is different
