I had the privilege of seeing Amanda doing this live and she was amazing! How she’s not more famous is beyond me! Who’s still here in 2024 for this slice of 2005 nostalgia heaven?
I am! I’m still here because I played this song on DDR and it was on DDR SuperNOVA2 (USA Version) for the PS2 (USA) and I’ve played it on either Beginner or Light or both step difficulties at once or sometimes!
you prolly dont give a damn but does someone know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I love any tricks you can give me!
I'm really glad I grew up in the late 90's to the early 2000's because I got to experience great music like this, daft punk, armand van helden, stardust, basement jaxx and many more. I miss the 90's they were great.
Yes a Masterpiece.... so is the original by Jackie Moore "This Time Baby" .... I am 60 years old and during my Disco days I would tear up the floor with my girl when this would come on.....back in the 70s
Beautiful music.......House Music til I die. A lovely smash up of legendary tunes.......Jackie Moore's 'This time baby' and Tina Turner's 'Heartache is over'.
Not heard this for years , my brother used to love this song , he just passed away last week so just listening again for him, this is for you stuart😢💔🙏
If you listened to the defected record label, there is still some excellent house music out there. House music has many prime eras, late 80's, mid 90's, early 00's, mid 00's. And the last few years gave been great if you steer yourself from mainstream
I love this song and I love this video! The sampling of Jackie Moore's "This Time Baby" and Amanda Wilson singing part of the lyrics to Tina Turner's 1999 single "When The Heartache Is Over" is what make this so timeless, epic and unforgettable :-)
This song break me hard with the piano and trumpets instruments. I never listened some beautiful house with a funk 70s harmony touch. The voice of Amanda is the best of voices I heard. Amazingly deep and intensive like her actual projects.
I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've listened to this song back in my childhood days. I rediscovered it recently and it's just as good as ever if not even better.
Sure it's a cover for Jackie Moore's "This Time Baby" and Tina Turner's "When the Heartache is Over", but it's a beautiful, uplifting remix by the Freemasons. A classic.
I WOULDN'T call it a cover... It's more like a mash-up remix!! She obviously liked both songs and decided to work with them both by mixing them 2gether 😊
"ive got love on my mind" is not voiced by Amanda, abolutely not, original voice mixed in and I hate to see her taking credit of it -_- her voice is blatantly different, but okay for bringing the reference, I didn't know about the song, and good remix overall
@@juniourst3ven596 the part "i've got love on my mind... wasting time": Jackie Moore's voice and not Amanda's. Exact part of the original: /watch?v=HHYc3brR8Gc#t=124
I used to love this tune back in the day... Being 18 and wild woo, i remember you could walk away into any JD sports store in Birmingham and hear this song playing, good ol 2005/06 days man I miss them times.
Wow, what a voice. Have listened to this on my iPod for a year or so and assumed this voice was a black soul singer. Good job! She looks a bit like Ricki Lee, the Aussie singer.
Oh live without you Oh I can live without you Oh live without you Oh I can live without you I got love on my mind, ain't no use in me wasting time I got love on my mind, ain't no use in me wasting time I got love on my mind, ain't no use in me wasting time I got love on my mind, ain't no use in me wasting time Yeah When the heartache is over I know I won't be missing you Won't look over my shoulder 'Cause I know that I can live without you Oh live without you Oh I can live without you Oh live without you Oh I can live without you I got love on my mind, ain't no use in me wasting time I got love on my mind, ain't no use in me wasting time I got love on my mind, ain't no use in me wasting time I got love on my mind, ain't no use in me wasting time

Why this music stop producing, i mean, is it me or are 2007-2010 were golden age for this type of music? Now this days, the pop music is low, very low and unplayable compared with this?
It's because electronic music overall got mainstream :D House in this case Disco House had a very strong niche as a club/dance music genre. At some point most of the big names in pop started doing their own songs in a club/dance style so ppl producing House had to either get out of business or start producing songs in a similar style as the big names in pop to stay on the market :D Thats why the best elctronic music genre of all time is dead, oh and ofc because DAvid Guetta :D
My friend what you say is sadly true. If you look at the charts now it's so sad that even what is called "house" today is... I don't know... slow music without emotion plus some fuckin' EDM with the same "drop"... How can you dance them? Going into a discoteque now is non sense except if you go for some 90's parties where you can really have proper fun!
