I had the privilege of seeing Amanda doing this live and she was amazing! How she’s not more famous is beyond me! Who’s still here in 2024 for this slice of 2005 nostalgia heaven?
I am! I’m still here because I played this song on DDR and it was on DDR SuperNOVA2 (USA Version) for the PS2 (USA) and I’ve played it on either Beginner or Light or both step difficulties at once or sometimes!
Not heard this for years , my brother used to love this song , he just passed away last week so just listening again for him, this is for you stuart😢💔🙏
I'm really glad I grew up in the late 90's to the early 2000's because I got to experience great music like this, daft punk, armand van helden, stardust, basement jaxx and many more. I miss the 90's they were great.
Yes a Masterpiece.... so is the original by Jackie Moore "This Time Baby" .... I am 60 years old and during my Disco days I would tear up the floor with my girl when this would come on.....back in the 70s
Sure it's a cover for Jackie Moore's "This Time Baby" and Tina Turner's "When the Heartache is Over", but it's a beautiful, uplifting remix by the Freemasons. A classic.
I WOULDN'T call it a cover... It's more like a mash-up remix!! She obviously liked both songs and decided to work with them both by mixing them 2gether 😊
"ive got love on my mind" is not voiced by Amanda, abolutely not, original voice mixed in and I hate to see her taking credit of it -_- her voice is blatantly different, but okay for bringing the reference, I didn't know about the song, and good remix overall
@@juniourst3ven596 the part "i've got love on my mind... wasting time": Jackie Moore's voice and not Amanda's. Exact part of the original: /watch?v=HHYc3brR8Gc#t=124
I love this song and I love this video! The sampling of Jackie Moore's "This Time Baby" and Amanda Wilson singing part of the lyrics to Tina Turner's 1999 single "When The Heartache Is Over" is what make this so timeless, epic and unforgettable :-)
If you listened to the defected record label, there is still some excellent house music out there. House music has many prime eras, late 80's, mid 90's, early 00's, mid 00's. And the last few years gave been great if you steer yourself from mainstream
Beautiful music.......House Music til I die. A lovely smash up of legendary tunes.......Jackie Moore's 'This time baby' and Tina Turner's 'Heartache is over'.
I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've listened to this song back in my childhood days. I rediscovered it recently and it's just as good as ever if not even better.
I used to love this tune back in the day... Being 18 and wild woo, i remember you could walk away into any JD sports store in Birmingham and hear this song playing, good ol 2005/06 days man I miss them times.
Wow, what a voice. Have listened to this on my iPod for a year or so and assumed this voice was a black soul singer. Good job! She looks a bit like Ricki Lee, the Aussie singer.
This song break me hard with the piano and trumpets instruments. I never listened some beautiful house with a funk 70s harmony touch. The voice of Amanda is the best of voices I heard. Amazingly deep and intensive like her actual projects.
My heartbreak track 😢😂 during the break from my former husband . It was 2006 and I drove 600 km at one day to a friend because I needed some emotional support and during the driving I heard this track 50 times 😂❤
Hey I'm 60 this year and still love all this! Many a happy Sunday morning 4am till 2pm at Trade in London! The weekend wasn't weekend without Trade (Turnmills in Clerkenwell!! Tony de Vit set was the best)
This could’ve been a song from right in the middle of the 70s Disco era and then 30 years later like when it was released and no one would know the difference it’s that GOOD GOOD MUSIC IS TIMELESS
It was. Go listen to “This Time Baby” by Jackie Moore. This song is basically nearly a carbon copy of that and that was a disco hit waaaay back in the day.
@@Jess-737 I wouldn't say carbon copy though if I were you, It more like good remixed version into house music style genre which make this song sound amazing and better though in my opinion. I'm not saying that the original is bad which that song was classic that also sound amazing for its time which I appreciated and like it too.
Get in the time machine, it was 2005; the summer of Lola's Theme - a track so phenomenal no idea how I'd begin to replace it. October that same year, caught the tail end of this on a house radio program in Adelaide, Australia. I had my answer. Aussie's are so lovely that someone actually tracked the dj from that program down (who threw it on a CD for me). Listening atm because it always reminds me of Australia ... which can obviously use all the good energy, cash and volunteers it can get right now.

Probably the greatest house song of all time.. 👌
When the song hits 1 min 47 seconds. That part of the song is pure gold! 🙂
