Looks awesome! I have two clients who have had infrared sauna blankets for a while and they both love them. I want to say the company is Higher Dose?? They use them after long runs, marathons and beyond. I have one of them taking an ice bath first and then jumping into the sauna blanket. She says the recovery is dramatic. Only negative, she says, is that she often falls asleep...lol. The Hydragun looks to be of superior quality. I hope you and your wife don't end up fighting over sauna blanket time!!
I’m a believer now! I’ve used the recovery boots like Normatec, massage guns, tried ice baths (don’t like them), and now the Sauna Blanket. It is definitely great quality! Used it again tonight upto 168°. Felt great!

Love it, I'm a big believer is heat therapy. Fantastic thorough review Steven! Excellent suggestion about the cord. Do you think it would work off a car outlet if you had an adapter? Could be handy after a race. Are there any safety measures to keep it from overheating, or worse, catching fire?
Great question! The HeatPod uses between 550-600W, so one would need a pretty powerful inverter to provide adequate wattage. BUT it does look possible. The Sauna Blanket shuts off after 60 minutes of use, and with the triple protective interior and carbon coils, its pretty darn safe!

It is great! I have been using it at 165 degrees for 40 minutes now, and love it! I feel so much better and relaxed after!

Yeah probably. It certainly gets warm in it and with repeated exposure seems like it could make you more acclimated to heat.
Does it happen that pains get worse from the blanket?
I have not experienced that. For me it helps
How long does it take to heat to maximum? Have you checked with a thermometer if the heat coincides with the 176 max? I have found heating pads do not actually produce what they claim. For this price I want to be certain of legitimate claims.
It doesn’t take long to reach max temp. Maybe 5-10 minutes. I have not tested with a thermometer. I can tho in a few days
