Очень крутая тема!! Не для всяких звукорежиссёров, которые закончили звукоинженерный факультет 30 лет назад и напрочь лишены всего, так как являются тупо роботами без души))) А это прям произведение искусства, созданное для ценителей потустороннего!!
I love when designers and engineers are not afraid of failure and are willing to go beyond the conventional. This sounds mystically beautiful. I feel like you put a smile on gods face with this unique creation. Thank you for sharing
the closest thing to this in euro would be odessa? and that is 500 for just the one module, this thing has 6 voices , all those crazy envelopes, fx algorithms, case psu ect i dunno seems almost undervalued! im into it, wild concepts
I had the Odessa, honestly except the “fm dx7” flavor, nothing to compare imho You can’t produce what I heard on the demo Or you are have a lot of Odessa + so many modules and understand the architecture of the Programma 😉
ok I went to the page and saw something about harmonic partials. I like the mathematicky look BUT..... Question: Can I construct sounds with the harmonic partials of gamelan instruments with this?
You’d have to program in those frequency ratios by hand or through trial and error with a physical modeling synth, you’re not going to get them with an instrument like this. Gamelan instruments (i assume you mean metallophones but bamboo also) have very specific harmonic spectra. This here looks like a more experimental math-based engine that’s for sonic exploration. I’d suggest getting a detailed spectrum analyzer, analyze the spectra of the instrument you want to replicate, then start creating sine waves at the frequencies you see in the analysis. Or, use a synth made specifically for physical modeling.
@@sub-jec-tiv Thanks for the response. SO if I know the spectral data I can replicate them with a physical modeling synth. (Do these come in Eurorack form, by the way?) ok .... but what is wrong with a math based engine like this? If you CAN organize your partials with this..... what's the difference?
Would like to hear some more melodic demos. Seems like a very cool synth architecture but not hearing a lot of sounds I would use. Can you build big chords with the harmonic cores?
I'm also wondering if you can get something more melodic out of this thing. If was looking for sounds like this I would just sample some Merzbow into my MPC or Octatrack.

This is just a noise generator, it has no use. It is not a computer, it is not musical, you do not have scales or tempo. Who was the fool who came up with selling this?
If don’t like noise, it’s your ears, you may read Merzbow comments about noise for him “Mozart is noise”. I let this one to him😅. But how can we call, Your very “useful” comment: Mean and a noisy advice 😂
I take it you're not a sound designer not produce electronic music? If you where you'd know that you can do all kinds of amazing things from bleeps and bloops. So no you wouldn't use this to compose a song but you would use it to create interesting and amazing sounds that you then manipulate and use to compose.
@@atetraxx You can do all those sounds even with a Kawai K1. Just need to use an oscillator, a random oscillator to the pitch and amp and that is it! And I say Kawai K1 because it does not have a filter, if you want a filter use a D50 or any other Roland from the U and JV series and on. And do not get me started with Korg and Yamaha. this is the coolest thing i have ever seen
good god how do we get one of these for the shop..?!
this looks like a science textbook. (that's a compliment!)
Gorgeous design!!!! 👏😻👍
When will you put the video for Miracle back up? I've been looking for it for ages
nice one
Listen @0.5x speed, and its more palatable. 😂
Coil would love it

No effects? Effects would add a whole new dimension to the whole unit.
there is an experimental regeneration delay in it

kind of feel you on this, but i have the inkling you ain't gonna really tune this one, or that's somehow not the point.
Love it
amazing!
can this thing play mary had a little lamb?
Eventually
It's got the bleats down
Very musical
any chance for the soft/firmware to be used by Windows? android?

where can I buy it.....?
Huummm ! interesting !!
Interesting sound, but can you actually play it as a tuned musical instrument?
I guess the harmonic series sounds way out of tune when u modulate it randomly. Not the most musical box from what I've heard here

You can do this all with one or two plug ins in Ableton. Max4live
