That's *exactly* what it is (though perhaps without the 'sad'). This was from a technical rehearsal for Eurovision 2013. Performing arts students were used to stand in for the real ESC performers while the all the camera angles, etc, were worked out. They're not expected to put on an amazing performance - it's more about standing in the right place and looking at the right cameras. The lacklustre backing singers are standard, but Ellen's spirited performance is what made her stand out.

Den är bra, kanske inte melodifestival klass (lite för lugn)men svenska folket gillar den! Jag skulle aldrig somna under melodifestivalen så dä så!

Sometimes stand-in singers are used during different rehearsals so that the crew at ESC has time to perfect camera angles, lighting, sound, etc :)
Does it bother you? No, then don't ask! You can get to know things by reading sometimes rather than asking melodramatically
