Chris, well done. You finished your ride. Maybe not in the way you wanted to or even thought you would but, you didn't quit. Excellent video and more would be welcomed.
Awesome job, Chris, Congrats! BRUTAL -- a century a day! I am hoping to ride SF -> LA this summer, but at a leisurely pace and likely at 1/2 your daily miles. Cheers!
Nice job Chris! I hope the knee starts to feel better soon. Its really inspiring to see you do a trip like this solo. I would really love to do a solo trip on the oregon coast myself one day. Really helps seeing someone go through their entire solo trip from planning to the finish line to inspire some confidence when I get a chance to get out there myself. Looking forward to your next adventure!
Loved it! Thanks for posting it. I love to hear how you struggle with your own psyche. Good job getting over the hump! I hope your knee heals up so I can enjoy seeing another trip real soon!
I might have to add that route to my "to do" list if I ever get over to the US of A. Great scenery, even from a freeway. Side note I got knee pain on the front of the knee when I switched to clipless, I'm sure it because I can't get the cleats back far enough....
It is one of the iconic routes in the United States, definitely worth it especially between Monterey and Morro Bay! Interesting observation with your knee pain. I suspect mine was a combination of those factors. The vintage Trek is a tad small for me too.
A great series and a tour you should be proud of. The stills at the end were excellent. I've sent a request to follow you on Strava. I'll be in the US in July, riding down the West coast, and it would be awesome if we could hook up for a ride at some point on my trip. Ride safe and hope the knee is feeling OK now.
Thank you man, your comments are always appreciated and I would definitely be down to ride with you if we can make it work! I'll be in Colorado for a spell in July riding up Mt Evans, but hopefully we can connect. I can thankfully report the knee bounced back fairly quickly after the trip!
@@chrisevans3804 Most importantly I'm pleased to hear the knee is all good now. The trip to Colorado sounds awesome and I'm sure you'll have a great time. I fly into Seattle in July so it will be another couple of months before I get down towards the south. I'll keep you in the loop and hopefully we can sort out a ride at some point. Take care and keep pedalling 👍
Sick! Just power-watched all 7. Good vibes 😎

Thanks for sharing your adventure. I really enjoyed it. 💪😎
Next time you're coming with me, Myers! I'll settle for a ride together here in SD soon.
Congrats on finishing your tour. I did the part of it in the last summer. 👍

Ride on, have fun! It's definitely worth the trip, no matter the pace.

The Oregon coast would be awesome! I've driven a large portion of the coast in that state, but doing it by bike would be stunning.

The knee is on the mend! More projects in the works :)
Congratulations on completing the trip!!
Thank you!
