I really like this case design, it looks fantastic. It would look even better if it was made of Stainless Steel. That'd be a killer watch. But it'd have to be at least 50m WR, as SKMEI makes all of their SS watches with only 30m of WR, which to me is a deal breaker.
Skmei makes good watches. I have 2 with 50m WR and have resisted daily used without any issues. The only bad thing about SKMEI is that they make good looking stainless steel cased ones but they are 30m WR.
this watch is absolutely perfect for those people with low income, when i was in highscool i bought 3 SKMEI, all of them is homage casio royale, the build quality is not so good i think, because it can't last more than 3 year, esepcially the backlight, after 3 years the backlight is not brigt anymore, and now i have a job and i bought Casio Royale, cuz i like the design, and the build quality is far better than SKMEI
Sure the Casios are better. About the backlight on Skmei, maybe the battery is low ? I have like 5 Skmei older thar 5 years. The backlight is bright as on new one ...
Finally we know where they copied from, it was a too good design to be coming in such an affordable wristwatch. Still quite a lot of sports watch for the price I might say. Also I am led to believe the original design had the hours marks luminescent while this only has the hours and minutes hands. Very good tech design to have the hands synchronized with the digital clock: all the CASIO 2747 movements I've come across they all lose synch with the digital time, usually several minutes late after some months and they require you to keep pushing on the very hard button to have complete 11h turnaround when you're adjusting back to solar time when coming from daylight saving time. At the price you can get this watch for you can't even buy a genuine CASIO F-91W and with all due respect I believe this a far superior wristwatch.
I have a Casio GA2100. The analog and digital times are always in perfect sync, even after the automatic DST adjustment. Su the F-91w is an iconic watch, no questions about it.
@@GedmisLaguna I am glad it does, even the 2747 module was used in models that were 50 to 60 EUR MSRP. The F-91W has probably been the most copied wristwatch in the world. I've got one which I still use daily during my job. It has a visually different module than the regular Made in China and former Made in Japan version but what's interesting it is that it's marked as Made in Malaysia and it was advertised to be genuine Casio by the seller... I was so curious to check if it was true that I bought it. It's been 10 years and I still don't know if it is some kind of module CASIO licensed from the Malays to be on their market: the module itself while dimensionally compatible is not the same as in genuine models from China, but it has the average gain/loss of a few seconds per month like a genuine CASIO module, the battery life is several years much like you'd expect from a real Casio so I don't really know if it is genuine or not... you wouldn't mark a Casio's back Made in Malaysia when most people know that only China is remaining as a production site for several classic watches including the F-91W, that would be a terrible give away of a counterfeit product.
Yeap that would be interesting... it seems there is no bottom price for how low you can go. At some point prices will go up and remain there... there's no way that one can justify the 4x multiplier currently applicable to cheap models: e.g. Casio F-91W around 22 EUR on Amazon, SKMEI copy of it 6 EUR on AliExpress and no Prime delivery required.
Looks nice and the white version is stylish but impractical. A pretty good model for the price. Thanks for review
Sure. Thanks for watching!

Yes, properly finished SS case would be nice
If the water resistant was better, I'd buy it without doubt

5 ATM is enough for daily use. I have swum many times with Skmei 5 ATM watches and had no problems.
@@PaKePo tahts sad indeed. I saw only like 3 models with SS cases
5 ATM is Ok, you can wash hands, shower, swim.

@GedmisLaguna I've replace the battery but it's still dim, I don't know if this is a factory error or not, but all my SKMEI have the same problem
tahnks for info. I'll check mine older models
Not bad. Full year calendar, World Time and synchronized analog hands. If only it had a positive LCD display variant.
IMO, the negative LCD integrates/looks better on this dial design. But sure, the regular LCD would be much more legible
Haha, a Cubic CasiOak.
I wouldnt be surprised if Addidas watches are produced in the same Skmei factory 😁
don't think so, maybe the movement is the same in both watches

The dial is copied from a timex command tw2v35500
Ah-ha... so that was the producer of the Adidas watch then.
From a rapid image search the movement has to be a SEIKO EPSON CORP. NO JEWELS JAPAN.
Negative display of that Adidas is so legible!
in the picture yes, in real life not so good ua-cam.com/users/shortsZZLMkvG6bMw
Thanks, that short is proving me wrong!
Just yesterday I order a watch for 3$ on Aliexpress 😁I'll tell you if it's any good when I get it
what model?
