- Uhhhhh i wanted to upload this to twitter but there's the stupid vid length limit there so here it is
uploading on a whim cos i love turnabout teleportation!!! this is the 2017 rerun where they upgraded their visuals and budget(?) some actors changed and the storyline is exactly the same, it's another 2 hours of watching edgeworth running around + bonus disc contents i don't understand it completely but IT'S GOOD TRUST ME!!!!
sorry to anyone who thought this was a full play haha i might upload more in the future but they'll most likely be short clips of whatever

They managed to do an anime opening on stage - really cool!
The wild improvements are so nice to see especially compared to the first. It's like seeing the cast grow and shine over time. Such an exciting feeling 🥺
The Theme in this play is a banger. I wish I knew where to find the OST LOL

This play was based on a rejected case idea for AAI1, so no Sebastian yet. But I would pay good money to see an Ace Attorney play featuring Sebastian in the future!

@@nemiangell Yes please! I could see Edgeworth becoming a mentor to Sebastian like Mia was to Wright, and that alone unlocks so many possibilities that TBH I don’t even know where to begin.

@@nemiangell I’m all for it. In fact, there are even more possibilities for a full spin-off game with that kind of setup in mind. To name just a few…

Since the ending of AAI2 and the infamous Zak Gramarye trial are roughly 2 weeks apart, this would mean that Sebastian’s apprenticeship under Edgeworth would begin around the same time the Dark Age of the Law was more or less getting started. Since Edgeworth was on the frontlines trying to combat the corruption of the Dark Age (especially after becoming Chief Prosecutor), this could easily result in Sebastian being somehow caught up in all the legal and political drama of the Dark Age, whether directly or simply due to his association with Edgeworth.

Even though Sebastian’s father has already been defeated and incarcerated as of AAI2, there’s still no shortage of potential drama between father and son. To name just one example, it was briefly mentioned/implied that Blaise had somehow caused his wife (presumably Sebastian’s mother or stepmother) to “disappear” not unlike how Blaise had made others disappear in the past, which could certainly be explored in more detail in a future case. Or even just having a case with Blaise as a witness is sure to spark some juicy tension, to say the least.

Maybe have Kay become a sort of apprentice/assistant to Detective Gumshoe, and have Kay and Sebastian work together more and more frequently by proxy, potentially developing a professional dynamic between them not unlike the dynamic between Edgeworth and Gumshoe. Not only would this help to further develop Sebastian’s relationships with the rest of the main cast, but let’s face it; no AAI game is complete without Kay and Gumshoe. In fact, I can even see Ema and/or a young Klavier Gavin joining their little squad as well, especially considering Klavier would be making his prosecutorial debut at around this time as well.

Just like Wright had ended up researching some of Mia’s past cases in T&T, Sebastian could likewise delve more into Edgeworth’s past. I don’t see Edgeworth as the type to keep any secrets from Sebastian (or ANYONE, for that matter), but perhaps an old acquaintance of Edgeworth’s (whether friend or foe) shows up at some point for whatever reason, and their arrival leads to a nice bit of development for both Edgeworth and Sebastian. This could include Franziska and/or Agent Lang from the previous games, or other possibilities could include someone involved in a case from Edgeworth’s “demon prosecutor” days, or someone like Tristan Turnbull from the anime (Turnbull being a former acquaintance of Edgeworth’s from law school, who was so jealous of Edgeworth’s superior legal prowess that he literally fled the country just to get away from Edgeworth).

I saved this one for last because it would probably fit best as part of the final case. After spending most of the game learning from and bonding with Edgeworth, something drastic could happen near the end of the game that would force Sebastian to handle an investigation on his own. The simplest example I can think of would be for someone to kidnap Edgeworth, requiring Sebastian to step up and lead the investigation to rescue him. Then by the time Edgeworth is rescued, he would be able to provide just the evidence Sebastian needs to solve the case, and the two of them team up one more time to take down the main baddie.
*TL;DR :: An AAI spin-off starring Sebastian? YES PLEASE!!*
