At least none of those crested geckos dropped their tails while they were being shipped to you. And I have never seen a crested gecko lay eggs while they were being shipped out to someone.
Very shortly I’ll be making them available. I just finished setting up my MorphMarket a few days ago and I have 1-2 more things to do before I start posting them. I’ll alert everyone with a UA-cam video, community tab post as well as instagram notifications so stay tuned!
I use 6qt totes for babies 8-9grams I use my rack system for juveniles (just made a video on those) 20ish grams is when I move them to an adult tank And then for adults I use 66qt totes They all grow at separate rates so I don’t have a time frame. I wait for them to make weight and then move them
I’ve never had them lay eggs but a day or two after I received a girl that I wasn’t told had been bred, she laid 2 viable eggs. I reached out to the breeder, they said they bought her from a bigger name breeder & didn’t know she had been bred. So I reached out to that breeder, I just wanted to know time frame so I know how much longer she’s going to lay viable eggs. No response. And now she’s laid 2 more viable eggs. 😅
I would say so so. It’s not big but it’s not horrible structurally. I would like it to be better but I have a plan. My plan is to pair her to a male with very good structure and the babies should have decent/good structure Let me tell you, it’s extremely hard to find dals with good structure. And I’m not talking the people that just say “good structure” when it’s not. I mean legitimate good structure is hard to find with dalmatians
@@MajikBugBarn Not many people make it a priority. They see the spots and don’t care about structure whatsoever. Then they say “good structure” when it’s not. I aim to change that!
I want to make an updated video on that honestly. I already made one at the beginning of my channel but I’ve learned more tricks and changed some things I do. Making sure they are the right weight, age and have sufficient calcium sacks are the biggest things you need to monitor in my opinion. Also breed something you’re interested in. Don’t just breed random geckos to make random geckos. Soooo many people do that. Find what you love and work with that! You might even make something new. Ya never know!
Unfortunately he didn’t pair her so the only way they would hatch is parthenogenesis which I think is a long shot but I’m hoping! And yeah, I bought her as RTB so she’s been laying duds
How many of you have seen or heard of geckos laying eggs during shipping?? I’ve never seen it before!
@@sarahsunshine8455 thanks!
Did the eggs produce babies?
@@maryannkom299 unfortunately no
@@tmreptile thanks for your answer. I appreciate it. I’m sure she’ll give you beautiful babies in the future.
@@maryannkom299 no problem! I really hope she does!
Ink spot babies will always be my fav
They’re literally awesome! I agree

I’m sorry about that. Poor communication is not good and neither are flippers (if that’s what it was). I’m glad you got some babies out of it though!
So with the female that laid eggs, how would you rate her head structure?

Interesting, I wonder why it is so hard to get good head structure on them.

I am glad that someone is working towards cleaning up the line and I hope that others follow.
@MajikBugBarn I’m sure they will at some point! If not, I’ll be one of the only ones with good structured dals so I’m not complaining haha
Do have any tips for breeding cresting. I would love to get into breeding them. But I want to know what I’m getting my self into

You got a three for one if they hatch. Kinda makes me wonder if they knew she was close to laying.

Could you address how these little geckos breathe in these seemingly air-tight containers? What about water and food? I worry!
How they breathe in the shipping containers?
