It's really refreshing to see the 747SP still doing the rounds, albeit somewhat scarce. Such a stunning livery too! Great camera work and filming all round!
I love the Sound of the JT9D Engines!
I have the VP-BAT in my collection. My first and onely 747SP and the last visit of the VP-BAT at Basel!
they are the best sounding engines on any 747 in my opinion especially at full throttle.
What an epic catch!! Amazing classic 747!! Sound is fantastic!
What made this B747 as a world's most sophisticated wide-body airplane of all time, is the hump, the wings with 4 engines and so its the bottom undercarriage wheels, 1 at the front and 4 and middle of its fuselage.
Spectacular video! I adore the 747SP, wish there were more :)
I am a recent retired flight attendant and I have flown on many 747 planes ✈️ and also flown on the 747SP
Wow what an amazing rare catch, didn't know that LVSC still flies it, one of the very few operating 747classics today, although I like their A345 more :D.
And once again, I'm freaking jealous! What a catch, absolutely amazing!! :D Well done mate!
Oh j aurais tellement voulu le voir en vrai magnifique! Par contre incroyable les proportions de la queue par rapport au fuselage... en même temps c est un sp
Whoever owns that SP it looks like they take excellent care of her!! She’s all polished and shiny

What an awesome sight those days! Great video Nolan!!!
i like that the sands has this! no bullshit!
Man I love that plane
Je l'ai vu décollé de chez moi! Très belle machine!
Nice! Thanks for sharing this.
Ah, those JT-9's 🎶
Wow! Amazing video ! Fantastic aircraft
It's funny that the SP is actually shorter than the 787-9, 747SP is 56m long with a wingspan of 60m, 787-9 is 63m long with a wingspan of 60.1m
Sucks one of them got withdrawn from use because the nose got hit by another aircraft in the maintenance hangar. Really big cut
Beautiful!!!....
Chartering a 747SP is like pulling up in classic Cadillac
A favourite of mine too
Fun fact: The 747SP was the ones in TWA, it changed many roles until it got to this one.
le fuselage de cette avion est incroyable ! l'un des plus beau sur le marché à mon gout même si je trouve le badin vraiment ridicule par rapport aux nervures du flaperon ..
Excellent.
What a bird.
Looks like an RC plane
It seems that the SP was rare example of Boeing making a jet bespoke for a specific airline rather than production for the wider market.
This business model was what ultimately killed the British aircraft industry as an independent commercial entity with the VC10 and arguably in the military sector.
Saw this airplane today, I thought it was a bit short-
I just saw this exact plane land here in Las Vegas no more than 15 minutes ago.
The B747SP should have had a freighter variant as well
this is acully the first twa 747 sp
The 747 SP getting really rare in Europe. Corsair used to have one years and years ago... Great catch... Di you use a ladder ?
Sorry for late reply ! Yes I used a ladder ;)
Its cute
This plane passed over my house in 2006
Is this plane slightly shorter then a series 800 or even 400 ???
N540PA china clipper pan am 747sp?
The aircraft is from twa
It is 74S, not 74L as written in the description
The ICAO code is B74S, but the IATA code is 74L. But I understand it is a surprising code.. haha
@@GVASpotter Oh
👌👌👌👌
Show
Kanye West currently leased this same 747SP fun fact this 747SP is actually shorter than the normal SP
This aircraft is the same length as all other SPs.
It’s not.

Imagine if it had 4 TF39s...
LASMEMES
