It makes me see so sad to see these cargo vessels,which were such a common sight when I worked in the shipping industry in Liverpool, and are now all gone.The melancholic music befits the passing of this once great company perfectly.
Stirs my heart... did my deck cadet apprenticeship with Ellermans . Mine and the Hulls maiden voyage , then 2 more voyages with her on the Candian City Line & the Colombo & Toronto, Bedford, (Sth Africa) Arcadia (Med), to mention a few. Still in the industry from shore side, doing my best to focus on B/bulk (MPPs).... Boxes are so bloody boring, besides which, all being controlled/worked by desk jockeys !🤬
