Vitale's voice makes me feel...unclean. Gotta admit, he definitely does sound like the kinda guy who would perve on someone he originally served as father figure to.
A lot of people I see in (years old) comments really don’t like this ending, but I think it suits her. She was brought into this life after being an orphan. She’s given everything to her, except love. Only hints of validation. So she’ll do whatever it takes to get it. It may seem very dark how she got it, but at the end, she didn’t really get her wish. Instead she got what she deserved. This is the life she was brought into, this is the life she wanted, and she realized that this is the life she’s been living in. She brought this on herself after Ms. Fortune told her the truth. So this would be the life she would follow if the story keeps her this way.
Youhadabadday too little, too late. Cerebella as a character in Skullgirls and Skullgirls: Encore just SUCKS in my opinion. She is so naive that it makes me sick. This chick degraded her supposed “friend” (Feng) multiple times (the part about no one looking to see her if Cerebella wasn’t there and the bit about the elephants) just to make herself look better. She is at Vitale’s every little beck and call and, on top of that, she crushes Fortune into nothing. Killing her forever. And sadly, not even her story mode in Skullgirls: Mobile makes up for her being such a jerk. Because, unlike the others, we don’t see even a potential glimpse into her past. All we see is her at The NMO Arena - being given a challenge by Black Dahila. She’s already Vitale’s pet at this point, and even nearly gets herself killed trying to save his ass from Beatrix’s “Cloak Of Daggers” attack because he was in the blast radius. I am not sorry if Cerebella is your die hard favorite character - her writing is beyond BS, and her endless, damn near obsessive love towards Vitale’s isn’t even justified anywhere in The Skullgirls Lore. Maybe if she was on her deathbed and Vitale persuaded Lorenzo to let him borrow The Life Gem to save Cerebella’s life and let her heal up, then return the gem; that’d be great. Obsession and infinite loyalty justified. But that doesn’t happen. Her obsession isn’t justified, and she acts like a small child vying for their father’s attention in a VERY unhealthy manner. All she does throughout her story mode is hurt people. Nothin’ else. And yes, maybe she does have a bit of a conscious at the very end, just before the screen fades to black, with her still sitting in Vitale’s lap. But that is just far too little, far too late. The damage she dealt is done. And cannot be undone.

@@thecatastrophe132 You're right, in the game files there's an entire script for a unused alternated ending: Cerebella wishes for Vitale to only love her, he kills everybody except Feng, who accidentally kills him in self-defense, and later when Cerebrlla becomes the Skullgirl, Vitale comes back as an undead to declare his love to her. It was supposed to be a choosable ending along with the actual one but it got scrapped in the making of the game
As much as I hate the webtoon, they did Cerebella's relationship with the medicis wayyy better there lmao. Vitale's more sympathetic towards her and genuinely cares about her but he needs her to prove her worth because the other medicis think that shes too immature and innocent to keep working for them so high up in the ranks (Cerebella refuses to kill anyone which stales her relationship with the Medicis). Vitale's slowly losing hope in her but defends her when the other medicis reveal that they're losing hope too. It justifies Cerebella's obsession with pleasing him now. She doesn't want to embarrass and dissapoint Vitale anymore and wants to prove to the other medicis that she's worth keeping.
