He can laugh at himself too w/ the "you didn't think I could do it. Did ya?" Besides that the man did it "off the cuff" no machine keeping his voice tuned just pure talent.
So incredible! Elvis was very spiritual and he sings with so much real passion and love. Thank you for this I haven't heard him sing this before. God Bless you forever Elvis
Yes his Birth place is a special place to visit. To see his roots and understand his meagre start in life puts into context his phenomenal affect on the world, even today. It is so beautifully cared for and has its own special atmosphere, especially sitting at the top of the hill seeing the view Elvis would see as a child. 🙏👌💕🕺
Just Beautiful!! His voice is so amazing. Thank you... I hope you and your family have fun at the home of the King of Rock and Roll. Elvis' Graceland. Take lots of pics and video's
I’m happy that u all r going to Graceland. My granddaughter went this summer and could feel his presence there. Man he could sing. Love ya Ray and ur family and glad u done a story. ❤❤❤❤
It's as if nothing or no one else exists and Elvis is speaking alone with Jesus Christ, expressing his love, his devotion, and revealing his heart. I believe the special connection comes from the fact Elvis was willing to bare his soul to the world, and never hid who he was for fear some might criticize him or it might negatively impact his finances.
You are so right. Gordon Stoked said Elvis brought gospel into the mainstream. As I have often said having been to 2 of his shows, how many rock stars sing a gospel song in the middle of a concert?
There is also a ad lib he does of America The Beautiful. Not every put out publicly, it will also blow your mind. He is playing piano here. He was so underated as a singer a lot he said about himself. Elvis sings Ava Marie too. Thanks Ray.
Imagine what he would have sounded like if he had been recording the song seriously. He was just playing around between recordings and it was pure magic. That's when you can appreciate his talent. Most artists have to have everything just so. But Elvis just blasts it out.
THANK YOU TO WHO YOU ARE FOR REQUESTING THIS ONE 💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹💜🌹 RAY THANK YOU AS ALWAYS FOR YOUR 🎶WONDER OF YOU🎶 WONDERFUL REACTIONS 💜🌹💙💐💜🌹💙💐💜🌹💙💐💜🌹💙💐 This was an impromptu performance during a longer recording session on May 16, 1971 at RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee. I'm pretty sure that is Elvis on the piano. Because when I did a little bit of research on this a credible source noted by "The Lord's Prayer" in the recording session book as follows: (Arranged by Presley). Anyway I thought that was interesting and worth mentioning 😊👍 Just my personal opinion: But I think when Elvis sang Gospel it was a form of meditation for him. He just totally immersed in not just the lyrics but the feeling of love for God that Elvis truly had. Gospel resonated with him on a deeper level I think. Even non- believers who listen to Elvis's Gospel are completely blown away by the raw emotion in his voice as well as the vocal power when he hits certain notes. As you say Ray you cannot deny that Elvis had a voice like no other- FACTS!!! Also: No one tells a story quite like you do, Ray. Me, personally? I love story time with Ray 💯💯 Thank you for including that as a special feature! TCB ⚡ & TLC ❤ & peace ✌& blessings 🙏 to you & yours & to one & all here as well 💕
Hey Sammy, aren’t we lucky to have such great reactors brining Elvis to us and even now, finding new things to listen to and making new fans for him every day?! Your knowledge of the background to Elvis’s songs and performances always gives added depth and understanding for us to learn. And as you know, Elvis fans are always wanting to know everything about him. 👌💕🕺
There will never be anyone that could sing Gospel music with passion that Elvis did. Congratulations Ray 🎉98k I am so happy that I found your channel. I have been here a long time and have been able to see your milestones. But watching you fall in the love with Elvis. Not only his talent but the man. You keep an open mind and understand he wasn’t perfect. In my opinion he was very close though. lol Much love and I can’t wait to hear about your trip to Graceland. When you walk in the front door you can feel his presence. I hope you have a wonderful time!!
98,000 Ray!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 So very exciting !!💃💃💃🤸♀️ CONGRATULATIONS!! you deserve it❤ Thank you to whoever requested this beautiful " Lords Prayer " sung practically acapella by Elvis.....chills from start to finish for this fan. I always enjoy your storytime so thank you for sharing this one. Thank you for reacting to this amazing song and I absolutely agree about putting butter on his laugh and eating it up..."yummilicious".....facts!!! 😅
Thank you and the person who requested it! Never heard this amazing performance before. It's so amazing! I am happy that your channel grows, congratulations! I wish you a great time visiting Graceland!
Wow ray I'm so excited for you to visit Graceland! I got say I'm a little jealous it's been over 30 years since I visited with my family and I hear that there is so much more to see ! It will be a great experience for you and your family! Enjoy !❤😊
Consider my timbers properly shivered. I agree...anytime that Elvis sang his gospel he went to a whole other place and takes you with him. What better way to start the day..thank you so much for this. Wishing you and all of the vibe gang a lovely day
So beautiful and his reverence for the music is evident in every word. Thanks for keeping the legacy going and growing. Enjoy Graceland! When you walk through the mansion and stand in the Meditation Garden you will feel his spirit. ❤
Never heard this so thank you to who ever sent it in and thank you R’Elvis ,for your special reaction. Your face when listening reflected how we all felt listening with you. You will all love Graceland. It was Elvis’s home, his haven and his happy place that he bought for his mother, so to him, carried special memories of her. One thing you must do is get up early one morning and visit the Meditation Garden. Between 7-30am and 8-30 am, you can walk through the gates and walk up the drive to the Garden for free. I did it with my daughter, we were alone apart from one other couple and it was so special to spend quiet time at Elvis’s resting place, with his family around him. Such an incredible atmosphere. My daughter left him her favourite crystal on his grave. All gifts are collected each day and kept. Relish every moment beautiful there is so much to see. 🙏👌💕🕺
Oh Ray I’m so excited for your visit to Graceland. I think it’s going to be so emotional. Hopefully I’ll get there next year for my 50th birthday. I love your love for Elvis and it’s a feeling that’s indescribable being an Elvis fan and the love we have for this man but if you know you know. Thanks Ray as always for your time and love 💙
When Elvis sang Gospel, the passion he sang with, the only way I can describe it, is it sounded like he was talking directly to God. Like he had a line straight to Heaven, and he was having a private conversation with God himself, only, everyone can hear him. If this makes any sense. ❤ I love Elvis.
I often go back to your first reaction to Elvis " In The Ghetto" and continue to watch each video until I reach the latest one. I enjoy them so much ...one main reason is because your sense of humor keeps me laughing...thank you so much. Also, just watching you fall in love with his performances.. songs and who he was as a person is very special too.I also appreciate you defending him when he is treated unfairly...it means alot to his fans. Thank you Ray for giving us so much of yourself with your videos and reactions. You have helped each of us in different ways and I am thankful for all the effort you put into creating such a special channel. ❤🌻
I'm a 70 year old white male born in Gary, In. I was there when Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 first started. I'm a fan of both Elvis and Michael. Something you never mention is that Michael Jackson married Lisa Marie. May 26 1994. There was no children and that's to bad, he or she would of been the greatest ever.
🎥 Calling all content creators! How about making some reaction videos to Big Buzz, Overtime, and DBrass's catchy track "That's Church"? Let's see those genuine reactions and vibes as you groove to this awesome song! Don't forget to tag the artists and spread the love for their music! 🎶💃 #ThatsChurch #ReactionVideos #MusicReactions
this is elvis being completely unserious lol hes totally screwing around showing off & calling someones bluff about him being able to "sing" the lords prayer... still incredible but completely joking around this is definitely not **gospel** or filled w/ passion c'mon now lol
As every true blue Elvis fan knows Elvis loved gospel music above all other music. When Elvis first started out he want to sing in a gospel quartet( l think that's the right spelling). But most turned him down for one reason or another? Thats why when Elvis, return to live music in 1969 he got JD Sumner and the stamps to join his band. After his shows were finished Elvis, would be joined by JD Sumner, the stamps anyone else would wanted to sing gospel in his penthouse room and just sing gospel for hours.
There are still people in this world... who still believe.. no matter what hollywood or the dems care about!!! We still ... believe in God.🙏👍❤️⚘️
Shivering my timbers…I almost spit my drink out!
Elvis would be invited to practically ANY Church in the world. He’s singing with a lot of choirs now
He just makes you want to lift your hands and worship. Love this man love for the songs he sings.❤
I agree. Very good. I enjoyed this vibe! Thank you!
When you go into the house you will feel his presence ...Been there it's awesome....Enjoy sir!
As the movie said , this was the music that he loved , the music that made him happy ... TCB forever!
You will be in awe when you visit Graceland. 😊

When Elvis sings, God speaks. Amen 🙏🏼❤️⚡💯
This is absolutely stunning.
Please go to Tupelo when you are there. You won't want to leave the Chapel as they play his gospel music there. ❤
