Goalkeeper Training: Positioning and Angles Tutorial

Hey UA-cam, welcome to my channel.
My Name is Charles Dignan some of you will know me better as Chigs.
I am an SFA licensed Goalkeeping coach with Junior and Senior experience.
The purpose of my channel is to not only give a platform for my goalkeeping academy but also provide coaches and players of all levels, ages and experience the visibility of Goalkeeping drills.
This will be anything from themed compilation drills, right down to the intricate detail of individual drills broken down, explained and progressed to allow coaches to not only facilitate a session but to actually coach a session and know when to apply it.

Thanks for the great examples. I modified it and use a very long string, tie each end to a goal post, and make a point in the string triangle that's easily movable to various spots around the box. Thank you!

Love this! Something I work with my keepers on. Question... When crossing, would you recommend the keeper getter closer to make self already bigger and goal smaller, or to stay in the box?

In my experience, we need to see the situation /positions of the ball. Importantly the starting position should be approximately 4 or 5 steps from the goal line in the 6 yard area when the ball is already on the side of the field of our area. This requires a reading of the game before reaction.
