- DeepL is an online translation service that, thanks to the use of artificial intelligence and its large database (enriched in particular by the Linguee platform), is more accurate and more nuanced than its direct competitors, namely Google Translation, Microsoft Translation and Facebook. He is able to translate Word and PowerPoint documents directly into at least 9 different languages.
In this video, I will show you how to bypass the editing of documents translated by DeepL, a feature only available to users with a Pro account.

is there any way to do the same on Mac? Because i was stuck in the notepad option. is there any windows like notepad for Mac?
TextEdit is the Mac equivalent to windows Nodepad.
Yes, TextEdit will probably do the task, but I recommend CotEditor (coteditor.com/) as a better alternative for Mac.

Use Sublime instead of notepad. Worked perfectly

I saved the translated file as RTF and opened it in Coteditor, but couldn't find the word "password". Am I doing something wrong?

vous pouvez aussi convertir votre fichier deepl en pdf en utilisant convertio, puis vous ouvrez le fichier pdf, selectionnez tout le texte et placez tout le texte dans un document word. Vous pouvez alors tout modifier.

This didn't work for me, text in Notepad is all garbled. But I was actually able to just copy the whole text (and formatting) from Windows Explorer's preview pane and paste it in a new Word document... Problem solved too.

@@seyhanturk850 I'm answering after 3 months, just choose the Windows Explorer, click "view", click "preview pane" option, then you're gonna the contents of the document and then just copy it with no limits! Easy.

So I just happened to find an even easier way to do this : change your word doc into pdf and back to word on ilovepdf and the protection goes away !

Idk for everyone else, but It's not working for me! The best option here is to open your Windows Explorer, click "view", select "preview pane" and when you see the contents of the document just copy it.

yes, this works well and is better/ easier than rtf or pdf options
