Can you click any word in DeepL translation in CAT and choose from some variants, as you can do in pure DeepL? Or is it one variant only - take it or leave it?
Thanks for clear explanation! Sad that DeepL changed their pricing - I have been using WFA for a long time, and was thinking to use DeepL. Today DeepL's API plan does not support integration to WFA(free and paid) so need to subscribe to DeepL Advanced or Ultimate.
Thanks for the video, it would have been interesting to know if with the DeepL API it would be possible to change words to synonyms automatically by placing the cursor over a word, as it works on the DeepL website.
This would depend on the CAT tool integration I guess. However It seems unlikely. They have a web-based translation service. Try to ask them if this would work on that. I haven't tried it. (They have a Facebook page, maybe you can ask there). My bests :)
You are warned. Currently (May 2023) DeepL is only producing disappointing basic quality texts: these fast results aimed at beginners or/and undemanding readers still require MUCH subsequent work to shine! I am a qualified professional English-German-French translator and must warn you: Sorry, folks, but this is still far from good!

Excellent question, in most CATs, you cannot. I'm not even sure if this can be done with GT4T. It would be a cool feature though!

It's sad to see that, no API for no CAT works on plans lower than Advanced. Thanks for the nice comment!
