For those interested: Samart Payakaroon has a gym in Bangkok named Popteerathan. Saenchai trains in BKK at Yokkao. He rarely goes to PKSaenchai which is in BKK as well. Sam A and Nong O are part of Evolve Martial Arts (In Singapore I think). Namsaknoi closed his gym and now works as a trainer in Phuket. Orono last I heard, was working at 13 Coins Gym, but that was long time ago. Thank you for this video!
I'm into Muay Couch. I sit on the sofa while pretending in the comment section I'm a dangerous long-distance fighter. Opponents are suspicious and don't even dare to attack. That's the most powerful style. I can even drink beer or devour a chips bag.
I guess this is my style as I very like to throw straight shots like jabs and teeps on the outside and also incorporates feints/fakes. I consider my lowkicks, clinching plus elbows and boxing combos as utility. I don't really like to brawl but I am comfortable incorporating dirty boxing with elbows and knees in my game. However, One must have the excellent eyes as a muay femur because as a round goes by, my eyes gets tired making my stance and form weak.
"Femur" in Thai means "Free-hand"....similar in meaning to "High level ability within the profession"...Complimenting a musician in Thai could use the same phrase.
That's the style of fighting Bruce Lee was aspiring too, (of course add grappling and foul tactics.) The ability to control the distance, counter and adapt to your opponent are key ingredients in JKD. Too bad there are few and far btween good JKD fighters. Samart as perhaps the GOAT, and a Muy Femur fighter, is the most JKD type fighter I've seen in the ring. Being a world class boxer probaly had a lot to do with that as well. Just a beautiful fighting style.
My current favourite Muay Femur fighter is Tawanchai, he made his ONE Championship debut a few months ago and won by headkick knockout after battering his opponent for two rounds
I'd say my kickboxing style is very similar to a Muay Femur style of fighting. I'm not as good in clinch range, and I prefer to throw counter combos from more of a distance.
Muay Femore fighting at a distance would definitely be Sanachi, prime Anderson Silver, Jon Jones well rounded and good adapting and a counter fighter and very clever, setting up fakes, good speed and skils with a different strategies.
What if Im kinda technical and tend to use all the muay thai weapons but I'm not that good at studying the opponents style? Does that still count as muay femur?
conor mcgregor is kinda like that, but instead of being a counter striker, he is a offensive counter-striker whos pressing the actiong but still waiting to intercept his opponent. Ala bruce lee
@RC was considered a lost style then this guy discovered , now is bunch of federations sealing certificate's to anyone, you can see by the people generally involve , usually a out of shape middle age European that seems never take a punch in his entire life , and there various primitive and regional styles in Thailand and region but Muay biran is not one of those
marsoc0326 I remember him very well , he got two controversial lost to Nokweed Davy ( he was past his prime but still ) , and to Coban ( when Coban hear that he won he didn't do his trademark victory dance as if he knew he kinda lost or rather barely won that one , the public at Lumpinni was also boing the decision , he went on to say that this was by far his hardest fight against a foreigner ever and considering that he has fought titans such as Dekkers 4 times , Dida Diafat 2 times and Jo Prestia this surely is a true testament to Dany Bill skills ) . For me Coban won that fight but it was very close as for the Nokweed Davy fight the only way he could of won was for the judge to bend the scoring criteria to the absolute limit .

Thx master I'm a muay bed
This style appeals to me the most out of all the ones you've covered so far by a mile.
Ofc styles can be highly complicated with you’re preferred technique, and a then style, there’s soooo many possibilities.
it's the second one...
This style is incredibly hard to replicate
You gotta have incredible vision, reaction time, high fight IQ and stay relaxed.
These videos kick ass. Best video series yet
don't forget Lerdsila and most people in Jocky Gym like Sokram too

I feel like I'm more like this now that I think about it
I could be wrong but I think he’s talking about Muy Femur fighters. I think I heard him say that once or twice.
These guys make the people they beat look like amateurs.
I feel like im a very aggressive Muay femur

Muay “thigh”
The teacher of Saenchai > Somrak Kamsing
I want to be Muay Femur, and I want to learn Muay Boran
muay boran is hoax , was "discovered" by a french men in the countryside of thailand in the 80s

@@joerogue231 he was slightly shorter not smaller by much at all
Not this Muay Femur. I'll go balls deep at close range if your force me lol
Hey hey wait a f*ckin minute there is another style that can beat any styles of muay thai which is the muay crap "the dirty boxer"
