I just bought a new battery battey as I thought it was dead. I have put the new battery in and the red light comes on at the back and the torch does not work. It seems to work fine with 4x AA batteries but not the led lensor battery pack. What do I do?
Azedine R At first turn it off. Then keep pressing the white button for 5 seconds. the light activates itself fir some seconds and then it turns itself off. Now the red backlight should be flashing for a couples of times
FAILURE - Has the weak little battery compartment clip on your H14.2 failed too? Imagine being that kayaker in their ads, out there in the darkness, when your batteries fall out into the water behind you.! Unfortunately not a product you can rely on. It has happened to me twice and I know they were already aware of it when I first reported it years ago. Shame about the useless clip on the battery compartment. LED LENSER have been aware of the failure for many years, but did not update the failing part. Not the failure that put me off, but the attitude of the company to provide a similarly weak replacement under warranty. Until this torch I had been a fan of LEDLENSER for years having many of their torches, including the previous H14 which was very well made. Poor design. Very poor attitude to addressing their oversight, by ignoring it.
thank god for this, i was having so much trouble with the downloadable user manual. insane headlamp though!
"Manual" is horrible. Worst documentation ever.

Are there any videos on how to do maintenance? When I put my batteries in, the light flicks on but light stays off. Can't get it to work properly.
Hi Monte - this sounds like you have the Transport Lock on. Please email support@ledco.co.uk and they should be able to help you
Why does my torch turn off for 10 seconds d's then flashes and turns off
I have this same model (NON RECHARGEABLE). But I was wondering what the USB port on the battery pack's purpose is. Any idea?
maybe then you put rechargeable AA batteries you can charge with usb port
Does anyone know the programme button is showing orange and not red?
I have the rechargable version, it glows red when it charges is it meant to change to green when its full?
red=charging
green=fully charged
why did you make it flash 3 times when going flat... drives me insane. worst feature on this headlamp
