- The Sharpy is very light and it will give your knives, the blades of your Victorinox in particular, a very correct edge in a minimum of time.
Le Sharpy est très léger et il redonnera à vos couteaux, aux lames de vos Victorinox notamment, un tranchant très correct en un minimum de temps.
Great video man, great video. At last one real video using the Sharpy, most of the videos I see are like a perfect sharpening easily, but Yours is real, It doesn´t come at the first try extremely sharp as I used to see in other videos, I mean, You are not fooling anyone, the test is real and much better than those that with 4 or 5 passes they cut like a scalpel. Thanks for the video, I really appreciated It. :)
Looks and works good to me Brother.... I'm going to get one for my pocket Swiss army knife.
I'd never use this for normal knife maintenance, but the video is nice 👍 thanks
Love Your videos:
Simple, relaxing, informative :)
U really take time to show theze tools
In 23 passes you had a fairly sharp knife 🔪 that knife could of used 30 passes to get it sharp . A good way to test the sharpness of knife is to use you finger nail , it resists it’s sharp .
4.3323 vs 7.8715 vs 7.8714which one is better? Or is there any other option?
4.3323 ... it has more sharpening options.
How is this better than a smiths brand from Home Depot for 9 bucks?
Victorinox (and some other brands) have lot of different sharpeners. As for me - it can be very interesting - to compare them and find best one.
Certainly ... The Victorinox Stylo sharpener did not convince me. I don't have any others. Consider its weight, minimal, and its field of use: quickly restore a sharp edge.
@@diezelle57 Hmm, i was (until now) thinking about stylo sharpener. Can you, please, describe what`s wrong with it?
@@TV7000It simply does not sharpen or harder (ceramic pads). The Sharpy is more brutal but more efficient.
@@diezelle57 maybe compare this with the worksharp field sharpening system
@@diezelle57 its not good on your kitchen knife as it was not intended for that type of knife, they are intended for victornox pocket knives, also they have a preselect angle in degrees to sharpen the pocket knife for the optimal sharpness, id know as i use one, your kitchen knife is simply not the correct knife for the sharpener, nothing wrong with it.
💪☺👍
Blade destroyer in my opinion...
No, a blade sharpener which certainly removes material but which restores sharpness. The use of the Sharpy, simple and fast, light and efficient, is essential where you cannot sharpen your knife, like a maniac, for hours with force of sharpening stones ...
Yes, those carbide sharpeners are really nasty. They baically just shave metal from the edge leaving a rough mess of an edge that is sharp in sections. Its a sharpener for "shitknives"
@@TheKimjoh560 Okay, I'll explain. You are in the middle of nature, your knife no longer cuts correctly. You take out your Sharpy, which weighs only 10 grams, and you re-sharpen your blade in 10 seconds. "shitknives" or all the SAKs from Victorinox? End of the story.
@@diezelle57 I dont judge, if this is what you like thats fine. But for me, I cannot see any situation where I would rather have something like this over a DC4, Flipstone or similiar pocket sharpener. In fact I'd sooner use an improvised sharpening device.
@@TheKimjoh560 "improvised sharpening device" = ?
🙈 …..insomma una schifezza….
Non.
Junk
I am no longer your psychiatrist.
I thought this was a brilliant way to sharpen knives in the middle of nowhere.. Could you please explain why you think this is junk?
