Unfortunately, and I may be misjudging the depth of the water but to me with a decent pair of waders it would😢have been a bit easier n less hassle to-wade in and pick it up. Even with that over hang of a shore line. Sorry, I don’t know Australia at all there could have been a good reason for doing it your way.
I hope you didn't spend big bucks on the that big "DUD" magnet or the small one, perhaps you'd have at been better off with a grappling hook. If those DUD magnets aren't sticking to the metal/iron then you should invest in a real magnet/s . Sorry mate but you lost me when your "MAGNETS" didn't do what I'd expected and a rope isn't really magnet fishing is it?? Buy a decent magnet then make videos PLEASE!!!
