I still don't understand why this MASTERPIECE is so underrated. Beautiful OSTs, plots of each episodes, characters, vibe - This is everything about Mushishi. Uh, world is so unfair... But I'm glad that people don't forget about this title : )
So, subbed Mushishi was what I use to watch on the couch while my boyfriend at the time worked graveyards. It was a fairly scarier neighborhood with us being poor college kids, and so I liked relaxing on our couch where I could see our locked balcony and door. I have had insomnia since childhood also. So I figured I could stay up restlessly and watch this anime to calm my nerves and relax. And I became so relaxed that Id end up going to sleep on that couch, before even a single episode ended. After a couple months I realized my mind would instantly try to sleep whenever this soundtrack played. And I’ve used that to my advantage since then. I owe this soundtrack many dream filled nights
I am here today 16 Feb 22, 2 days earlier I have started to watch the anime & I am on episode 6 and I am here specifically for the Outros Damn it this show is something else and the outros, it will drive you to a calm madness
This is the most beautiful and serene soundtrack I’ve ever heard, Toshio Masuda is a genius. Mushi-shi is absolutely a masterpiece. The stories, the art, the music, everything about the anime is so beautiful. The stories are so captivating, engaging and beautifully written. Each story has depth, meaning and imparts a lesson. I was completely engrossed in all the different characters and stories. Love the atmosphere and vibe of the show. It’s such a soothing and relaxing anime, makes you feel calm and peaceful after watching.
I only got into Anime in like late 2017 early 18. A few days ago i was looking for something new to watch on My Anime list and randomly decided to watch Mushishi bc of its story description. Phenomenal and Unique. I was extremely surprised that i had literally never saw this Anime in a recommended Anime lists video on UA-cam.
@@Miniiniscool Extremely underrated. Now I'm on the lookout for more series like it. If you haven't watched Wolf Children then I highly recommend it. It's not similar to Mushishi but it's very unique and has a great story.
Exactly. This show is so specifically japanese in it's storytelling and the effect it's trying to achieve in the audience, there's no way western writers will *get* even a.fraction of that.

yeah mushishi is definitely a masterpiece, it has zero bad episodes , every episode is a new unique story with an amazing atmosphere.
