You don't have an accent when you sing. Cant remember why. Can look it up though. Good examples though are like BFMV, he doesn't sound Welsh when he sings, but sounds very welsh when he talks. Chunk No Captain Chunk sing in English but are French, you couldn't guess they were French by the singing, but when he talks he sounds very French.
