Best sportage 2024 video i seen so far. You go over all the details, buttons and knobs in such a detailed way that i really appreciate.
Disclaimer I like my Kia Sportage SX Prestige Hybrid. That being said, being on the forums on Facebook, the non hybrid Sportage's have many complaints and problems. Review the NHTSA on the 2023 Kia Sportage non hybrid as a reference. It has 91 complaints and 5 recalls. The '23 Hybrid Sportage has 1 recall and 2 complaints. Kia may have corrected the issues in the '24 model. The heated windshield referenced in this model is something some people might need to get use to. It has a honeycomb pattern thruout the windshield. At night headlights and traffic signals look distorted. it took me about a month to get use to it, everyone is different. The black trim around the glass windows have dulled and have a muted black color now. The heated and ventilated seats are fantastic. All of the cameras are fantastic. The temperature/radio controls appear to be confusing. However, you can set the controls to be "temperature only" then use the steering wheel controls for the stereo function. The Harmon Kardon Stereo is probably one the biggest complaints for most people. the '23 models, the volume needs to be at 46 in order to get decent sounding music. There is absolutely almost none to zero sound to the rear speakers and the rear subwoofer. Hopefully that was also changed and can be subjective. My wife has a '23 Subaru Outback Touring XT with the Harmon Kardon it sounds phenomenal. I wish I could put her system in my car lol. The touch screen is very receptive. My hybrid gets on average 41 mpg in the warmer months and 37 mpg in the colder months ( northeast ) around town. MY Sportage has just under 29,000 miles and needs a EGR. Which is not a good thing. The only other negative for the Sportage is the absolute price gouging most dealerships are doing. My above MSRP was $2000, which is considered good especially for the hybrid. Some dealerships will ask $5000 over sticker. Sorry for the rambling. Just wanted to give a perspective on maybe not the Gas version but the hybrid. The hybrid is a better vehicle, less problems and worth the extra money. The only caveat is Kia's Excellent warranty.
I own a 2023 Sportage Hybrid Sx prestige in gravity gray and carmine red interior that I paid cash with $400 under a sticker. Out-the-door price taxes and registration with carpeted floor mats, cargo cover, cargo tray, auto-dimming mirror, and mudguards was $39875. Sorry, you had to pay $2000 over. Some Kia dealerships are greedy.
Kia just came out with an over the air or usb update to address the issue with the Harmon Kardon stereo. After the update the stereo sounds much better

I just bought the Sportage with the Prestige package and I love it. I am still learning how to work the media/radio/air system. I am learning that I just can't turn the dial, but I will get it. I love the navigation system and that I will no longer have to use my phone. Great job on explaining everything, I will watch this again, very helpful.

2023 Kia Sportage my best car over the last 20 years
We are looking at a 2024 Kia Sportage XPro and your video was excellent. Answered all of my questions and was very helpful. Congratulations and wish you the best in your new adventure.
My girlfriend bought a 23 Sportage X-Pro Prestige last fall. It’s been a super solid and reliable vehicle. It’s surprisingly quiet on the road and it has a decently plush suspension. The interior is well-assembled and seems pretty durable. The HK audio is kinda meh (good enough for her), but my biggest gripe is the engine. There’s nothing wrong with it per se, but it’s very low on power. I suggest getting the hybrid if you want decent acceleration. Otherwise it’s a very good bang for your buck.

The exterior styling is quite nice. 👍
The interior styling is also nice.
My favorite features are the dashboard gauge and infotainment screen and the blind spot camera view that appears when left or right turn signal is used. I believe this feature is only available in the prestige trims of the Sportage.
The only slight negative is it's city and highway mpg. But if MPG is an issue they do have a hybrid version available.
The Sportage is a great value for the money with lots of technology and convenience features.
Another plus is it's excellent warranty.

The Sportage and Tucson are top notch in every aspect. People will go on and on about reliability being suspect, but the RAV-4 is like a relic. The CR-V is finally getting nice looking, but it’s missing so many features. What good is having a vehicle that theoretically lasts longer than the competition if it sucks.
The turn signal cameras are an excellent safety feature. I have them in my Tucson.
I got the Hybrid SX Prestige just for the blind spot in the gauge cluster. Also, the reason for the Sportage over the Tucson was just that the Hybrid Tucson does not have a spare tire, and the Sportage interior was just a bit nicer.
Just traded in our 2023 Forte for this model. I loved driving the Forte, but this is going to be a big difference in comfort and technology. Love it so far!
The interior in this car is what makes me want this over the RAV4.
Put a deposit on a 2024 Sportage hybrid Ex (maybe?). I was feeling intimidated about the infotainment system. This is SO helpful. The car will be here end of the month. It’s the blue color and lt grey interior I wanted. Thanks!!
Great, thorough review. I agree about the need for more horsepower, so the hybrid with 227 horsepower (30 more HP) would be a better choice.

This one should sell only as "normal" version. X Pro suggests that you can go off-road, but it's just a crossover to the city. Great review as always. Greetings

I have a 2023 X-Pro. This engine has dual fuel injection, virtually eliminating the carbon buildup that comes with All GDI engines. Also if you hold the unlock button on the key fob, all the windows will roll down. Try it. 👍🏾.

All the windows ? Really? My wife has 23’ xpro prestige but the rear windows don’t come down only the front windows and sunroof.
@@myamionfire6393 ok the Prestige is a trim level up from mine. When I hold the unlock button, all 4 windows come down only, not the sunroof. I’ll try it again in the morning.

yes. I turned mine to no sound. Go to settings and auto. The sound link is there
Yes it’s a great looking car…. And yes it needs more power, turbo would be perfect…really can’t believe they didn’t make this at least an option…but it’s a great car!!!

The trunk has3height levels that you can choose so if you are not too tall you can set it to a level whereby you aren't stretching when you want to close it.

It looks like and is essentially a small minivan. Much prefer the look and performance of the 2024 Seltos SX Turbo which is 350lbs lighter and has 195hp/195lbft torque and better tech features.
Dollar for dollar, the 2024 Sportage is the best “bang for the buck” in its class.
It rides nice, handles very well, has lots of goodies for the money and a state of the art technology infotainment system.
That being said, after test driving a lot of vehicles in this class, I went with the Mazda CX5. It just exudes the “driving experience “ and feels like a German-built car only with better reliability. The overall build and materials just seems superior. While the base four cylinder specs in the Sportage and the CX5 are almost identical, the CX5 felt quicker and more responsive in every situation.

is lovely I think my next Kia will be one of them I have one sportage 2013 and I dont have any problems in the last 10 years and still like new better that the new ugly Honda CRV I will got it soon❤❤❤
One of the best Kia's I have ( my 4 th Kia " Diesel " ) 2.0 diesel Turbo 4WD in NZ , we are lucky here in NZ to buy a Diesel euro 6 engine .

Just purchased this vehicle in Dawning Red. DOES NOT COME WITH A GARAGE DOOR OPENER AS STANDARD. Cameras every where, all conceivable extras except!

they should keep engine stak not turbo for reliable but should make it more power like rav4 201hp or higher will be nice

Its not a prestige , in usa kia fooling u, thats mid model of sportage,
Prestige have 19 inch tires with cool rims , back seats are heating, total leather seats , even menu is different
To learn the menus i was watching videos from usa , i asked to kia dealer at turkey , why ours different , he said its not prestige look at your tires rim
Forexample for automatic long lights its on by it self

Have they fixed the oil consumption problems with the GDI my 2016 hyundai santa fe sport has a oil consumption issue PVC valve has been replaced also..

I test drove this model/trim KIA today (but the 2025 version) and I learned more from you, than I did in my 3+ hours at the dealership!

the question is….will kia and hyundai fix their engine issues regarding oil burning on all of their vehicles. their are multiple class action lawsuits.
Yes my exact thought I have a 2016 hyundai santa fe sport and it also has an oil consumption issue PVC valve has been replaced also still has the same issues..

All that typing on that large screen... what could go wrong??? Texting while driving is illegal so when are they going to outlaw changing your thermostat or radio??? Bring back the old dials to control radio and thermostat... the no look adjustments are safer and quicker.

I enjoyed this presentation, but why don't you talk about legroom and headroom for tall drivers. even though you are not tall, you talked more about the back seat who cares....the driver is likely aying soooo talk about how con=mfortable it is for the driver.
