Keep a precision instrument roll, people. We will be able to enhance it retroactively in final shape, and if im pretty sure that slight increase in dmg allows for a 2 tap on all resils after a 3 crit kill on first target, as well as serving to counteract overshields.
wicked stuff Lego i like that you referred it to the Last word Its fun to see where Trials Is taking us, Gonna give killclip ago with Bakris that sounds fun

I haven't watched yet and just wanna say rapid hit explosive payload has not left my hands for crucible even though i have a sauced kill clip roll. I duel entire fire teams and win frequently. I call it my elephant gun and it brings me joy as the world's longest aggressive hand cannon
Also can't recommend reload scaling perks on this gun enough, I run double loader on my gauntlets. I actively slam bullets into this thing as I'm firing. People do not expect it! They peek thinking they're cleaning you on a reload, not realizing you already slammed in 4 fresh rounds and have your ADS again
if you run any form of a sidearm or smg just run cascade on your other gun. Tarax + out of bounds smg (or any smg/sidearm) made me a believer in this perk. Out of bounds rolls with harmony, was literally getting some shots in with the smg and was ready to chain.
I use it with my stasis hunter build. Got a precision instrument/cascade keep away role. I love it and ive been seeing alot of others swap to theirs after getting beaten by it. Including dmt! I use it with bakris and trespasser for those being too aggressive. It can 2 crit 1 body. And with precision the headshot goes up to like 105-107. Consistently hitting 90 at long range
They were preparing for the future knowing this weapon would be too broken if it didn’t come out subpar. Once enhanced perks come out on this, I’m sure it will be much better. I’m looking forward to enhancing this more than anything else
He was talking about glacier nade specifically, which does work, but ONLY if you kill with the shatter, not if you kill something frozen. I got ONE drop the first weekend it was availible and it was Enlightened Action + Kill clip. Mine has reload masterwork, which actually feels insane with alloy mag and one quiet moment
I actually played against you while you were trying the hip fire perks a week or so ago. Don’t remember the outcome of the match but yeah I think I caught you a few times. I was hoping that perk combo would be nice but disappointed to hear it doesn’t
Rolled 3 the other night and got a keep away / kill clip / range mw. This thing is crazy. Also, the reason to take the headstone roll in to pve is simple. To practice for pvp. :P
On the PvE side of things, I’d say it’s still pretty viable as the DPS difference between scouts is marginal at best. Aggs have the highest single shot damage and can one-shot enemies in higher difficulties. Add on top of that, how there are multiple ways to lessen the main DPS penalty (reload speed). One Quiet Moment procs all the time in PvE and gives a huge benefit for free. So yeah, while it’s not the best DPS wise, does that really matter in a PvE scout if it has other great options/uses to back it up? Not for everyone, but if you like it, use it.
Yeah I can for sure see where you’re coming from. I hope I don’t push people too far away from it. If it’s someone’s style I want them to go for it still!
just a PSA, dont give up on hipfire if you are on M&K. if explosive payload ever gets fixed to not need 3 crits against 10 resil, it activates the origin trait in 2 shots. combined with the gun getting enhanced hipfire in the future, I suspect it will be quite strong when that happens. so if you play M&K and get hipfire + explosive, just keep it around until final shape and see how it performs. also with all the complaints of how poor the hipfire is on this weapon, i can see scouts getting a specific buff to hip accuracy.
I got a Demo/Headstone roll for PvE and sort of dipped from Trials after that. I wasn't sold on the weapon for PvP but perhaps I just need a god roll to try out.
I got one with fluted, steady rounds, rapid hit, kill clip handling mw. I.threw on adept range and imo its solid..... but..... nothing beats hung jury rapid hit, box breathing. Consistent .67ttk
I got hipfire and offhand on my adept roll. Typical. I did get cascade as a secondary perk. So perhaps when its ehancable, hipfire cascade will be good.
Lego I'd pay good money to have you cover all the sidearms. I can't decided if kc/hk heilo vs crafted drang vs zen/kc fioutra is better. They all feel phenomenal ❤
That’s funny because I was actually going to have a Helio deep dive out Monday, but then The Prophet dropped and I swapped gears. Mostly done with it though!
I've tried to like these 120 scouts they just are not for me outside of DMT. Maybe I just need more time to adjust? Idk, but I did get one with kill clip, enlightened action, flared magwell, fullbore/extended barrel, and a reload masterwork.
I'm a little dissapointed that it's another kinetic 120. I've been using DMT constantly since it first came out and I really want something similar in the energy slot, but I don't own the dungeon pass. I'm still getting a few Prophet rolls but most likely I will stick to my DMT. It with a sidearm was my go to pvp build before the sandbox changes. Now I've been trying it out with glaives, mostly Enigma or my max range Unexpected Resurgence. Glaives feel a lot more useful in this new meta than they did before.
Handed in my card earlier today, I sadly cannot be bothered to grind a cascade point roll, I just have to hope one of my 6 godrolls just happens to have cascade point in the extra perk slot I also find that keep away on this gun is completely useless. It’s a *scout rifle* it has a lot of range already, I just feel outlaw or the other perks offer so much more.
Discord/Cascade point is really fun in PvE as well, would even say it is the god roll. Using Indebted Kindness or Buried Bloodline keeps it going so easily Hoping you review A Sudden Death soon. It's a sleeper no one is mentioning
Hip Fire with Kill Clip on this may not be S tier but it definitely increases versatility for this. I’m M&K but it makes it so viable to ADS or Hipfire. I have over 1400 pvp kills on this roll and it’s a lot of fun.
I would argue about stacking reload with Kill Clip, you only need to "put in" one bullet to proc it. So say the fight took 4 bullets, you still have like 11-12 bullets ready to go with Kill Clip. Just sayin.
Yup! I mention it somewhere in the vid when talking activation. If Trinity Ghoul were more of a close range weapon that would work out pretty well for this!
Man I got seven adept rolls and none had Discord. I've got a hip fire cascade and a rapid hit cascade. I guess I'll keep the rapid hit one? Maybe the answer is to just use engrams and get a non-adept one. Not sure how much adept matters on this gun.
9:22 this is a point that legitimately makes me sad, this gun needs a slight PvE buff so bad, it feels *just* short on damage for a frame that's supposed to be slow firing and hard hitting. A ~10% damage increase against red bars would already make the gun feel a ton better.
I'm not a fan of that pick. Of course, this "God roll" is all but a matter of opinion. I don't like how I need to get a kill with another weapon to make the perks I have viable. Personally, for me, I snagged a rapid hit and Precision instrument with a range MW and slapped on a stability mode, and it's a monster!! I strongly believe there is a learning curve to this particular gun where you can use the origin trait to hipfire and be accurate.
Does chambered compensator steadyrounds stability masterwork rapid hit and kill clip or headstone soundbgood?adept.i wanted to farm it but did not have time as my tiny people come over on weekends.

@@SavvyMon4 It feels pretty much the same, I didn't even realize it was nerfed.
The Last Rite, seasonal 120 scout is goated also. I swear it doesn't have a strafe penalty for ads.
Prophet Is super fun to use. It really does give out heads hots for free.
So perhaps when its ehancable, hipfire cascade will be good.
enough about the prophet god roll.. what about the RIPTIDE god roll??
Go watch the tier list video
@@Manstrualhe doesn’t know 😂

The MemeTide
@@jinxcustomcontrollers dude. It doesn't even have high impact reserves. What could have possibly changed.
@@Legoleflash dang great minds think alot. 450s feel phenomenal right now. Especially the suros ones.
I've tried to like these 120 scouts they just are not for me outside of DMT. Maybe I just need more time to adjust? Idk, but I did get one with kill clip, enlightened action, flared magwell, fullbore/extended barrel, and a reload masterwork.
Got the discord harmony roll and when it procs, it's really fun.... But I'm not really good enough to utilize it often.
Can you look into scalar potential? Feel like its a real sleeper in this over shield meta with Under-Over
Sounds like prophet and the trespasser type of season for me
thumbnail is 🔥🔥🔥
Thank ya! Half the reason for the vid was thinking of this thumbnail. 🤣
Was aiming for that roll but couldn’t make it happen, next time perhaps
Just got a discord/cascade point adept.. I’m hyped to try it!!
Nice! I STILL don’t have the adept combo for it, but it’s still my favorite!
I feel like I am still stuck with my Long-Arm,
Polygonal, Steady Rounds, Stability Masterwork.
Under-Pressure, High-Impact Reserves
Tex balanced stock needs a big rework. It should proc on the first hit. Nobody has ever recommended using it.
Just got this adept and I love it
Kinda wish I was good enough to go flawless. These weapons seem awesome.
Handed in my card earlier today, I sadly cannot be bothered to grind a cascade point roll, I just have to hope one of my 6 godrolls just happens to have cascade point in the extra perk slot
I also find that keep away on this gun is completely useless. It’s a *scout rifle* it has a lot of range already, I just feel outlaw or the other perks offer so much more.
Discord/Cascade point is really fun in PvE as well, would even say it is the god roll. Using Indebted Kindness or Buried Bloodline keeps it going so easily
Hoping you review A Sudden Death soon. It's a sleeper no one is mentioning
what about this weapon for PvE after they announced the damage buff that puts aggressive scouts above every other scout archtype?
Demo/ Golden tricorn is a PVE win for me, cuz i like to run mothkeepers on stasis. 2 moth grenades, 2 melees
Hip Fire with Kill Clip on this may not be S tier but it definitely increases versatility for this. I’m M&K but it makes it so viable to ADS or Hipfire. I have over 1400 pvp kills on this roll and it’s a lot of fun.
I have a demo kill clip roll that I love using for my shatter dive hunter build, with frostees, CONSTANT Grenades
Yeah that is pretty great. I would vouch for it more if demo was more than 10% on primaries. Always miss the 20 from my specials.
Got chambered with max stability, keep away, cascade point. 74 stability is unholy on this thing.
sometimes I wonder if bungie actually tests weapons they put hip fire grip and off hand strike on...
Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!
@@Legoleflash hey I got everything you said for god roll except flared mag instead of accurized rounds. You think that will work fine?
I would argue about stacking reload with Kill Clip, you only need to "put in" one bullet to proc it. So say the fight took 4 bullets, you still have like 11-12 bullets ready to go with Kill Clip. Just sayin.
I get ya. I guess I just like as fast as possible but I can see the argument for something that carries more utility with it!
The trinity ghoul if you hit a crit will instantly ready cascade point
Yup! I mention it somewhere in the vid when talking activation. If Trinity Ghoul were more of a close range weapon that would work out pretty well for this!
Have a polygonal steady rapid hit KC range masterwork and I can tell you this thing is nasty.
I've been having a lot, like. an unholy amount of fun doing Rapid Hit Explosive payload. - But that could just be me.
Cascade point on a shotty is pretty fun in PvE
Man I got seven adept rolls and none had Discord. I've got a hip fire cascade and a rapid hit cascade. I guess I'll keep the rapid hit one? Maybe the answer is to just use engrams and get a non-adept one. Not sure how much adept matters on this gun.
Trust me rapid hit cascade is still very good especially if you are just using it normally. The scout feels amazing cascade is just icing on the cake
I feel your pain. Farmed over 30 adepts on a 7 win card this weekend looking for demo/Hs. Only 1 dropped with demo and it didn't have HS 😭
@@golddagger1276 Nice, thanks.
@@OlKeen dude that sucks. Last weekend it took me 26 Summoner rolls before I got one with Zen Moment. Rip.
Love your vids!
Makes me wish i kept my discord cascade roll. Ive never been a discord fan so ill have to get another and try it
Future enhanced hipfire grip does change things or nah?
My brother in Christ what fragments and stuff are you running with ur hunta?
Great video, thanks man
9:22 this is a point that legitimately makes me sad, this gun needs a slight PvE buff so bad, it feels *just* short on damage for a frame that's supposed to be slow firing and hard hitting. A ~10% damage increase against red bars would already make the gun feel a ton better.
All scouts are weak because it’s a high reward 0 risk weapon. Bungie won’t raise the damage
Yeah I wish they would have made this one hit just a bit harder with how it feels like it should.
Yeah it is pretty preferential at the end of the day. I’m glad you’re enjoying the roll you got!
Does chambered compensator steadyrounds stability masterwork rapid hit and kill clip or headstone soundbgood?adept.i wanted to farm it but did not have time as my tiny people come over on weekends.
