The only thing I know about the magic missile thing is that my dad had it on a disc and its about a d&d campaign. Also right when you said magic missile the first thing I thought was ( I attack the darkness! ) :edit. There was a funny part were one of the guys was at a tavern but thought he was with his buds so the dm/ dungeon master had to keep telling him he was at the tavern.
Captain Eggcellent I don’t have twitter or instagram so I’m gonna let u know here. Their is a we happy few reference in commander Liliths DLC in the backburner on the planning table. There is a little pill bottle called “joy puke” and a psycho mask next to it. If u interact with it u will have butterfly’s come out of ur mouth and everything will turn very bright. This is an obvious reference to We happy few as I said
King Jeffreys minions are called Canine and Molehill, a reference to Hound (another word for Canine) and The Mountain (making a mountain out of a molehill) from GoT respectively
The Torgue DLC doesn’t just have Guns N’ Roses references, it’s all rock songs. Other examples are things like Kickstart My Heart; Burn, Baby, Burn; and Highway to Hell.
The Dead Ale Wives "I attack the Darkness" bit is very popular in the DnD community. Popular enough that most groups will have side rules that punish players for ever quoting it, Lord of the Rings, or Monty Python.
On the to haha Easter egg there are 3 TVs and if you find all 6 pumpkins, kill pumkin king and sacrifice a gun ,shield, grenade mod and a secret boss spawns
What about the Fantasia reference with Claptrap in Tiny Tina's Assualt on Dragon keep? When you collect the staff and beard for Claptrap he summons magical broomsticks with water buckets and brushes that with every time he tries to correct the spell they become more in numbers and/or more erratic.
@Captain Eggcellent in TK Baha dlc there is actually 3 easter eggs to movies: The ring (you showed us), poltergiste (in the basement of one house in the village) and Blair Witch Project (somewhere in the map). You have to "watch" all three of the easter eggs to complete 1/4 of tasks to summon secret boss battle in this dlc.
@@randomtraveler2440 Because you didn't read his response. The TVs are 1 of 4 tasks. TVs watched, Red pumpkins need to be smashed, you need to use the cauldron, and defeat Jacques.
Just FYI, that Dead Alewives video was actually an Easter Egg itself, in the PS2 game Summoner. It was originally from their comedy CD Take Down the Grand Master. Rob Schrab and Dan Harmon were actually members, and Dan wrote that particular skit.
Magic Missile is a spell used in the Dungeons And Dragons RPG. You can see it in the D&D arcade games (Tower of Doom and Shadows over Mystara). It makes little damage but seeks the enemy.
I wasn't able to hear the whole thing because my friend was fighting enemies and the sound drowned it out but one of the vending machines, Marcus will occasionally say "The night is dark and full of ________" which is a reference to Game of Thrones where people who worship the God of Light always say The night is dark and full of terrors.
When you play as Krieg and he gets downed, he will say “I don’t wanna go” which is a reference the 10th Doctor!s last words in Doctor Who and he will also say “You were fantastic but so was I” which is the 9ths final words too
The shooting into the darkness clip that was referenced was some kind of easter egg on a game i played on either ps1 or ps2. I cant remember the game just that clip cus it was hilarious. I think the game was called summoner (not sure).
In pirates booty 95% that herbert and the mission “Faster than the speed of love” are references to family guy. The character Herbert in the game is a pervert and wants one person. He is also old. In family guy there is an old character named Herbert the pervert whom wants one person and stalks them. And then “Faster than the speed of Love” is the name of a book than Brian writes that ends up being awful.
Another Lord of the Rings reference in Tiny Tina's DLC can also be found in the Mission Loot Ninja, where investigating a knights comrades reveals their names as Boil, Mash and Stew which can be a reference to Sam's line regarding potatoes, "Boil, mash em, stick in em in a stew"
You’re forgetting about the Christmas carol reference the little boy named Smaller than average Timmy is a reference to little Tim in a Christmas carol
I think there is an pirates of caribean easter egg in oasis when you are doing side quest called giving jocko a leg up, on top of that camp there is a little gate rock in which are two hanged man. I think it is a reference to pirates ye been warned from first PotC movie
"The Dead Alewives" skit is referencing/lampooning Dungeons & Dragons, I think. Can anyone tell me where the last one with Claptrap as King Kong can be found? I never saw that one and would love to next time I play it...
When the so called"Spatula Khan" says:"I was the greatest chef on Pandora, until the Weenie Emperor rose to power".It references the famous line"I was a knight like you, until I took an arrow to the knee"
@@dagmardaggi72 The infinity is garbage. Sure, it's got infinite ammo, and has a couple character synergies that improve it, but... it has pretty low damage, only hits maybe 2 out of 10 shots at range because of the spread pattern, and is basically useless at higher OP levels.
in T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest DLC there were 3 of those TVs in total that unlocked a special mini boss fight, each TV referring to a specifc horror movie. These videos are pretty half-assed with details on those references, I'm gonna be honest... Enjoy your ad rev, I guess
Theres a racing mission in the T.K Baha DLC called Faster than the speed of love which is what Family Guy's Brian, the dog, called the pretentious book he wrote.

Spatula Khan. Might also refer SpongeBob. The master of the spatula

I think the last one may be a King Kong reference
Coulda had a twofer here, if you aim at Remsay's hat you can shoot it off, and the Rat in the Hat pops out, a reference to Ratatouille
And a reference to cat in the hat! 3 in 1!
@@Vepzzzzz not really
King Jeffreys minions are called Canine and Molehill, a reference to Hound (another word for Canine) and The Mountain (making a mountain out of a molehill) from GoT respectively
There is also an reference to Top Gun (starring Tom Cruise) in the mission Too Close for Missiles found in The Dust by Loggins.
Wow that Narnia easter egg gave me goosebumps. Love it!
In the Tiny Tina dlc, after picking up the Crit, the Orc you fight with blades for hands is a reference to Azog the Defiler from The Hobbit.
There's a Braking Bad easter egg in the water gobbler dlc. In the kitchen area there's an oven that, when opened, will pop out a tray of blue crystals
I was in lair of infinite agony when one of the enemies said "that's right, fly you fool"
The Torgue DLC doesn’t just have Guns N’ Roses references, it’s all rock songs. Other examples are things like Kickstart My Heart; Burn, Baby, Burn; and Highway to Hell.
Could you do Easter egg’s in Borderlands the Pre Sequel?
those king joffrey references were spot on
The name "Lost Souls" it is also (maybe an intentional reference) the name of the classic doom enemy, the lost souls, wich are flaming skulls
Theres also an enemy named “a rat in the hat” in gluttony gulch which references the movie ratatouille.
In Ellie's Garage, in the main game, there is a piece of grafitti style art depicting Spatula Khan.
You missed some stuff in the Bloody Harvest dlc. There's a bunch of horror easter eggs in that dlc.
What about the reference to the ''aristocratic ladies trying to get married'' show in dragon's keep dlc ?
10:26
I've been playing that God damn game for 5 years and habe most of the dlcs.
And I have never seen that until now
In the wattlegobbler dlc you can find an oven with blue crystals in it, we know what show its referencing...
Meant tk baha
I never figured out the easy reference of "Canine" and "Molehill" being a nod to "the Hound" and "the Mountain" respectively.
I'm not a smart man XD
Hope Borderlands 3 continues this trend of references and good times!
Looks like Gauda gave up on finding the lamb sauce
What about the Fantasia reference with Claptrap in Tiny Tina's Assualt on Dragon keep? When you collect the staff and beard for Claptrap he summons magical broomsticks with water buckets and brushes that with every time he tries to correct the spell they become more in numbers and/or more erratic.

Now I can't wait to see what Easter eggs and references they'll throw in for borderlands 3!
There was a poltergeist reference in T.K. BAHA DLC it was in one of the houses near the broken bridge
Just FYI, that Dead Alewives video was actually an Easter Egg itself, in the PS2 game Summoner. It was originally from their comedy CD Take Down the Grand Master. Rob Schrab and Dan Harmon were actually members, and Dan wrote that particular skit.
NOW I GET IT! That cutscene (6:39) is directly from the PS2 game Summoner!
... Well, the models are, anyway.
Great game that people dont know about sadly!
Christian Grantham Kinda. It's still pretty difficult to play in some areas.
That was plank from Ed edd and Eddy next to ganadolf claptrap
Magic Missile is a spell used in the Dungeons And Dragons RPG. You can see it in the D&D arcade games (Tower of Doom and Shadows over Mystara). It makes little damage but seeks the enemy.
When i first saw that bioshock reference i shat myself and accidentally threw a magic missile killing both in one shot cuz im lvl 40 when i played it

I saw the vid about attacking the darkness about 5 weeks ago
In flamerock refuge go stand under the bird nest on the north side of town and look up. U will see a tornado of rakks appear that you cannot attack.
I known that might not be it but think that the darkness thing is making a reference to "The Darkness" comics/games.
Rafael Loschiavo how is it referring to the comic when the trophy obviously says just like that one video
9:20 is that the voice from Vegeta ? It Sounds like
The wizards have a line saying "meca leca hi, meca you're gonna die" which is a reference to peewee playhouse
And in captain Scarlet's doc there is a side mission to kill Grendel, a reference to Beowulf
"The Dead Alewives" skit is referencing/lampooning Dungeons & Dragons, I think. Can anyone tell me where the last one with Claptrap as King Kong can be found? I never saw that one and would love to next time I play it...
Mordecai didn't watch nor read echo game of thrones
And Soo did I....
I think you meant to say "And neither did I...."
I'm surprised Chef Gouda Remsay isn't screaming insults at you.
There is a Frostmourne reference in the latest DLC
Does the big daddy ester egg still work I need to know?
Yep
When the so called"Spatula Khan" says:"I was the greatest chef on Pandora, until the Weenie Emperor rose to power".It references the famous line"I was a knight like you, until I took an arrow to the knee"

How about in Tina DLC in the refuge when the NPC get shot by an skeleton in a knee with an arrow?
You missed the Blair witch project in the TK baha area
I know I’m late in this video but I think I found a breaking bad reference. But I’m lynch wood I heard a bandit say “I’m the one who knocks”
Is spatula Kahn voiced by Chris sabot?

Though they make you fight similar enemies in the main quest, they missed a chance to make you fight some lost souls from DOOM.
