I have mine for about 10 months and it developed a squeak while using the turn table. I discovered that the little plastic wheels were not rotating. After a through wash-the squeak went away.
by the way the soft close is AMAIZING! is even an entertainment for everyone that comes home, BUT opening of the door feels very clumsy, I doubt it will last as long as the "regular" slam doors, I think there is a reason why no one else have experimented with the way the doors closes on microwaves.....
Ours broke after 4 years and has to be slammed or pushed closed. Searching UA-cam for a fix reveals this to be a common problem with this and other Breville models.
I was reading it needs 8 inches on all sides for proper ventilation which is what is preventing me from purchasing ... I see you just put it up against the wall. Any issues? Worried about venting and condensation ruining walls and cabinets and fire hazard. Thanks so much in advance!
I only have about 4-5 inches clearance on top but it's still working wonderfully. I don't see lot of condensation. I love this machine so much and the best decision that I've ever made!
@@GusI727 Yes! Still love the unit. One thing to note, the inside is also stainless steel so it gets quite a bit of stains. Overall it’s a really good microwave/oven/air fryer.
Thanks very much! Loved them too, but literally removed them last week as we are renovating my kitchen. Will post before and after videos once the reno's are done! Thanks for watching
Most need 12 inches from the top to cabinets and 3-5 inches on the sides and 3 or more inches in back away from the wall. What are the specs for this one? This is something many don't know and need to be aware of.
This for this review! This microwave oven would be great for someone with a profound hearing loss, because the oven sounds off at lower frequencies. This is a real bonus, because other microwave ovens will beep at considerably higher frequencies that some may not be able to hear. So instead of listening for a beep or music, you end up being visual by either waiting until the light comes off, or listening for when the oven shuts down at the end of the cycle.
We used ours for the first time tonight ... I already know keeping it clean it going to be real pain. Just spent ages trying to get it clean after air frying a few sausages and some pumpkin.
Interesting we never found cleaning it much of a hassle but we can see how the top of the device can be a little challenging. The air frying function works so well though hope you’re enjoying it! interesting we never found cleaning it much of a hassle but we can see how the top of the device can be a little challenging. I just got one and the air fry rack for the combi crisper pan has little orange rubber/plastic feet on the 3 little legs I am concerned they could melt with higher heats was wondering if they were just there for the shipping no mention of them at all in the book? anyone?
Hi! This is a great review :) would you still recommend this? Does the air fryer make things crispy? I’m moving into an apartment and the kitchen is tight on space so I’m seriously considering this! Just don’t want to spend the $ if it’s less than amazing. Thanks!
Every microwave I've had is hard to clean, but even with stainless interior, this one looks equally difficult or even moreso due to the airfry function...😮
How do you cook a frozen entree when you need, maybe five minutes and 30 seconds at full power? Using a dial to set the time looks like it would take awhile to do. We primarily cook frozen entrees and breakfast items or boil water for top ramen or tea.
I'm going to buy this but I just checked the price and god damnnnn, it's $500 dollars before tax. I'm gonna buy it when I get my next paycheck(which is this Friday), get yelled/nagged at by my gf for a night when I get home with it, but I bet she's going to be using it all the time afterwards lols.
We are looking for a microwave, haven't had one in 5+ years. Love the multi functions of this Breville! And it's pretty compact too! :) Good for you for doing the assembly without hubby lol!
She is closing it wrong. You don't need to push it all the way closed, just swing it softly until it barely touches and it will finish closing by itself
You really should’ve spent more time cooking with this product. I purchased one based on your review and it’s a piece of garbage. The air fryer function is terrible. There’s no way to avoid the preheat which just continues to air frying mode without even stopping. If you want to add more time you have to know exactly how to do it otherwise the air fryer preheat will start once again. Finally everything I cooked was terrible. The food wasn’t crispy at all. I definitely don’t recommend this. Don’t waste your time.
Well Im returning mine tomorrow, way to expensive almost $500 with tax from best buy, at the end of the day, as most families would use it for.... heat pizza, make popcorn, heat leftovers... na! im going back to a $145 Panasonic from Walmart! just my 2 cents
I’m seriously tempted to buy one just for the quiet sounds! My current microwave is awful and then does a reminder beep every minute for 5 minutes. If it was smaller and lighter it would have been thrown out the window by now! Bloody annoying, whinging little piece of crap. I know it’s ready, shut uuuuuuup!it never listens though. Why does it never listen? Oh and then there’s the “cool down feature”. Absolutely pathetic feature. It runs the fan for 2 extra minutes after it finishes cooking. Cook something for 10 seconds, listen to it for 2 minutes. I think I need me one of these!
Doesn't the microwave give off certain radiation; that's why you cover your food when you place food in the microwave. How did they separate the radiation when airfrying
You have a misunderstanding of how radiation works. Covering your food does not keep the radiation from reaching your food. People cover their food solely to limit mess and/or contain steam. It is entirely and 100% safe to consume food that has been heated via microwave radiation. Your food will not be radioactive.
Hi...thank you for this video..could you please advise how is the Oven and Airfryer Function please...many thanks
Do you still like it? I haven’t watched the review yet though I really wish to order it.
Just installed one this afternoon, so it's great to see your unboxing video!
Great
is there a way to change the light bulb ? If needed to change
along with all the functions I really love that soft close door!!!
Debbie Bashford yes it’s a real treat for a change 😉 thanks for watching
Hi there, the door is actual soft close all you need to do is initiate the latch mechanism and it will pull the door closed automatically ;)
How has it held up after 3 years?
Ok,ok.ok! The smile you have put on my face ! The soft door! Omg!
The soft door is amazing :) Thanks for watching
Thank you for the review with all the fine details. Those really make a difference.
Glad you like them!

@@floralenatorthanks for the response. I am really considering it. Could the crisping plate fit 4 chicken thighs on it at once?
@@GusI727 it depends on how big the thighs are. For the standard thighs, I would think it will only fit 2 pieces.
Good Demonstration. I love your stainless steel ceramic tiles. That's an idea I want to incorporate when I redecorate my kitchen.

You've demonstrated the soft close incorrectly. The door just needs a light push then the latch grabs it and closes it automatically
Thats why husband is required when unboxing and setting it up👌
Can it be kept in a kitchen closed shelf with some space in the surroundings ? Will it harm the wood or anything on which it is kept ?
No, the instruction book says that the oven needs 8 inches around it to ensure it doesn't overheat and should NOT be housed in a cabinet or shelf.
What are the temperature ranges for the oven and fryer?
I believe it goes up to 400 and I've roasted, baked and air fried the whole chicken in this machine before.

Can i bake with METAL pans?
It's very expensive compared to a combination microwave, and with ONLY 1 YEAR WARRENTY ?
Ya 150 to 200 $ more expensive compared to other.
Hi, I just received mine today. Do you know exactly how to set the clock?
Sorry we missed this! Hope you are enjoying the machine
I set the clock but apparently doesn't change between AM and PM
so you are reviewing........ that thing with out cooking anything?

Would have been much more valuable if you had actually cooked using the thing and evaluated the food after.
Yes! I bought it and the 1300w power for the microwave is a joke! My 800w cooks way quicker! I returned it just on that basis.
Thank you.

My guess is a separate microwave is better if you have the counter space. Otherwise you can’t use the microwave if something is cooking.
Thinking of grabbing one. Thank you!
We're really happy with it... definitel a good choice!
can Make a bread toast... how Is the feature to Make It????

I have the same question but also if you have an instapot 6 qt there is an air fryer lid
Thank you, great video details💜

Can you do an update on this? how do you like it after a year of having this?
Hello! A year on and going strong. Mostly use it as a microwave and honestly no complaints!
What is the diameter of the turntable?
Stephanie McDaniel just measured - 31 cms which is about 12 inches
Microwave review without using it?

What, putting in the turntable and taking off the stickers? Why would you need help for that?

Do you use the plate in stand up position to air fry food

I like everything about it other than it makes a knocking noise when you use the microwave
👍
It actually closes by itself! you missed that!
My legs melted the housing of the crisp pan
That's not how you use the soft close door function! Try to slam the door or swing it closed!

Who does them is it amazon .
The brand is Breville. Check out www.breville.com - Thanks for watching!

Convection and air fry is the same thing. Duh.
