The MC doesn't deserve the FMC, he literally never did anything and as the FMC said very incredulously when he went to check it himself, he is the only person who has a "conversation" with him and shows him the video and he just goes without any plan B if perhaps the antagonist is ruined, in fact she never did anything when the rumors spread if it were not for the analytical and cold attitude of the main heroine I feel that she would not have done anything. I'm not a crybaby like some who don't like the kind and incredulous archetypal protagonist, but at least from what I've seen, after they know about the lie, they act coldly to get out of the problem.
