Honestly, for as much flak WOC gets, I wouldn't mind seeing some extra levels from WoC for N. Sane trilogy.
I don’t think that remaking most of the crash games would be that interesting, but having some iconic levels from the post-naughty dog games would be so cool. Especially the GBA stages.
I would love to see The Gauntlet, Wizards and Lizards, the Cocoa Stages, and all the Atlas Sphere Levels.

@@shinyeevee0117 Actually the concept of four new masks was a bit similar. I think they got the Quantum Masks from the Elemental masks.
I think it would be too big. They should just release it as a cheaper standalone expansion pack like Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
This mod makes me realize in retrospect just how twisty and wavey WoC's level paths were, it isn't much but it feels really nice that they aren't entirely 90 degree paths with slight bends sometimes.
This is so awesome, my first Crash Bandicoot game was this one, I know that this is really hated by a lot of people, but for me it was amazing back in the day as a kid!

I love the Uka Uka in the ice in the Bonus Round from Twinsanity. The little touches that I've seen a few comments about are amazing.

Everyones hates wrath of cortex and I dont understand why. I get that theres a ton of vehicle levels but crash 3 had tons as well
It's not the tons of vehicles. It's the lack of originality and the overall broken development, it's a game born old already at its release time. There is no sense of innovation and frenzy, unlike in the first 3 games. The engine is outdated, nothing looks fresh compared to the original games (which is a sad paradox, since the game was released on a later machine, PS2). Many sessions are boring (like hanging on ceilings, or the atlasphere which many times is not fluent, or the dune buggy races, with nonsensical controls). No new collectibles and mechanics, just a boring reiteration on everything that was there in Crash 3. Not really the best way to go on with the series. The classic Crash structure oversaturates under these conditions. This is the reflection of the mere desire from Universal to milk the cow and make money by giving to poor developers Travelers Tales less than 1 year to make a new game from scratch, canceling the prototypes of a 3D open world Crash. This is true insanity. This game is reasonably regarded as the beginning of the strong decline of the series.
@@MazaJesi91 Eh, for what the game was like, I actually enjoyed it overall. The levels in the game were unique at least. And we also got Crunch.
@@leethoven I see what you mean. However still I think many levels were a blind and unoriginal reiteration of the stuff seen in Crash 2-3. The jungle, the ice world, labs...the hanging on the ceiling is a worst experience compared to the previous ones, Crash goes sooooo slow...to me unfortunately it looked like there was no true idea on how to develop something really interesting. Some stuff is ok, Crunch for sure is one of the good things, but it is not enough in my opinion to save the game's poor quality.
Warped has 16 pure vehicle levels and 17 if you count Dino--Mite! which has a small Baby T section but for the most part the vehicles work well (not as well in N. Sane but still)
WOC has has 12 pure vehicle levels but adding in levels that are hybrid... the total goes up to 21 levels with vehicles... That means you only get 9/30 levels with pure platforming in WOC versus 13 pure platforming levels in Warped and thats a huge difference when the vehicles aren't polished save for maybe 2

This is why I want a remake of WoC! I love that game (and imo it’s way better than warped). The main issues this game has is that the level designs aren’t as tight and refind as the previous games and it controls poorly. With a remake those problems could be fixed.

Nag Crash bandicoot 4 is about time, will be better than a wrath of cortex remake, the saga needs to move on.
IMO it's trying to be too much like warped. It succeeded in some parts but failed in others.

@@AlexxxMYLSince2013 and yes wOC was like crash 3 because development time for the game was rushed and they couldn't come up with any unique ideas besides crunch, the elementals, and monkey ball sections.

I love that Twinsanity reference in the bonus round and how there's a "Missing! Have you seen me?" for the tWoC Mammoths in the level. Wonderful job.

I think we can all agree that the music for this level is arguably the best in any Crash game ever. Wrath of Cortex was tons of fun back on Gamecube.
Knight Time from Wrath Of Cortex is my personal favorite. I also like Wizards And Lizards.

This have a strong Crash 4 vibe.
WoC gets a lot of hate for being a Crash 3.5 which is understandable. The game took a safe recipe and didn't improve on it, but the game didn't play badly. The level was really well made in the NST engine that was really nice to watch.
This makes my want for a wrath of cortex remaster even bigger. Awesome vid. Thx. :)

I recently played TWoC...I stayed like 5 mins on the first frozen lake just chilling, because the Ice physics there are SO good and enjoyable, unlike the annoying ones from NST.

People can shit on TWOC all they want, but it was the first Crash game that I've ever played and made me a fan. Sure.... it's nothing original, it's all Crash Bandicoot: Warped gameplay with little to nothing new, but who honestly cares? The visuals were absolutely gorgeous, the character models had that nice naughty dog charm, the level design was beautiful, the bosses were different and entertaining, it's pretty solid for a fourth Crash title.
So weird how the wrath of Cortex just came in the mail today from eBay for the GameCube and I’ve just started playing and right when I took a break I go on UA-cam and see this recommended 😭😭 this came out so dope !!!
From an outsider like me who has mever played WOC (even though i have a copy in my collection) this level looks like a lot of fun to play.

Seeing this level remade with N-Sane Trilogy's engine and assets really highlights that the WoC developers made the levels wider and more spacious, but they didn't really do anything with it. It just makes the levels look more empty. Not shitting on the developers: it was just an interesting observation.

I know crash 14 got is coming out in a couple of months. But man I really kill for a wrath of cortex remastered and Twinisanity. Both games were pretty unfinished but I would love it if they got some stuff completed in dual bundle

This is exactly how I picture TWoC to be if they ever remake this game, which I hope they do in the future. Honestly, I'd be more excited about it than _It's About Time_ since I've always seen TWoC to be the actual Crash 4 and Twinsanity as Crash 5, which i have yet to play.

This may be controversial but I think Twinsanity is the best crash game. Just the plat and gameplay alone is amazing and so underrated.
This is what we need.
They should have remade some levels of twoc and integrated them to the trilogy.
